This establishment is far from friendly, The service was horrendous and we got yelled at by an employee that was drinking on the job you could see her drinking on the job and her breath smelled like booze and she yelled at us because we asked a simple question on the bill, The restaurant up charges and doesn’t tell you this on the menu and when you ask when you order they tell you no up charge but you receive one anyway. When you order a shrimp dish and the menu states the dish had shrimp balls and shrimp you expect shrimp balls and shrimp not just one shrimp in the whole dish then are told that the one shrimp is a garnish and actually the dish usually just has half of one shrimp in the dish that was the waitress’s response and the rest of the dish is four shrimp balls. Then the waitress lies to cover her mistake and another waitress yells at the customer about it, I can afford the upcharge of a few dollars just tell me when you order and dont advertise the dish as having multiple shrimp and shrimp balls. It was sneaky.
My dish had just noodles and one slice of onion and three small pieces of meat you would feed a little dog in it and nothing else, for sixteen dollars I expect a little more, Such a rip off! It was mostly 🍜 Plus the glasses were chipped and the restaurant was super dirty and gross. The bathroom was the worst. Dried pee on the toilet and on the floor you could see that the stains had been there for a while and there was graffiti all over the mirror 🪞 plus no soap in the bathroom. nasty! You could see the caked on dust on the walls and on the picture frames in the hallway, the light fixtures had dust all over them and they look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time ! Let’s see how long this place stays open. It was really that awful! This is coming from someone who’s been going out to eat at least three times a week for forty five years 👴🏻🤣🤦🏻🤣 go to any other dining establishment. Awful. 😢 this place made me beyond...
Read moreService: Entering the nearly empty restaurant, we were not greeted, despite a person stationed at the entrance during the presumed grand opening week/month. 5 staff members were present, yet none seemed to acknowledge our presence. We saw this with another couple that walked through the door as well. The server appeared inexperienced; she removed our utensils without providing replacements for the forthcoming meal. Upon receiving the check, we requested a pen, but there was a delay in response until the owner intervened after our second or third request. Then the owner engaged with us upon learning of our Vietnamese background, which is the same as hers. She seem to be friendlier.
Food: The fried calamari wasn’t fried and was excessively salty. It was super soggy. We brought this to the server's attention. The spring rolls were ok, but lacked amount of vegetables. The Pho was disappointingly bland.
Ambiance: They had a TV on at low volume which made it uncomfortable for us to speak to each other in our normal voices, so we had to whisper. This restaurant is trying to do an open kitchen concept with making their pho, which seems a...
Read moreAte here about a month or two ago as a group of 6 friends(3 couples) some sharing dishes. Everyone on staff was very friendly but just seemed utterly incompetent in the restaurant business. One couple told the waitress they ate only vegetarian and fish and ordered the vermicelli noodles with shrimp. The dishes were delivered with so much time in between that one couple was completely done eating before the next arrived. The shrimp dish when it finally came to the table had a pile of beef on it. One person ordered chicken fried rice and his meal came long after everyone was done eating and it was steamed white rice with sautéed chicken and a piece of iceberg lettuce and tomato on the side. So strange. The waitress never acknowledged the problem with the meals nor the very awkward timing. Like another reviewer said, they seem very inexperienced. Some of the food was good. Some was meh. I share this post in the spirit of helping them improve. I really love Vietnamese food and want them to succeed. I plan to try them again some day and will hope for a...
