Lantern Cafe — Restaurant in Haverhill

This is a family owned gathering spot for good company, great bartenders and some fun. I've know this family since I was a child. No matter how long its been u are greeted like family. It's a small little place with all the charm that goes with being there for many many years in the same place. Nice old fashioned fun with great people. Excellent service and a very affordable fun night out to play a little pool, have a very affordable drink and play some music of ur choice on the jukebox. There are no strangers here. You walk in and not only bartenders strike up conversations. The customers as well will make u feel right at home. This has been my version of Cheers where everyone knows ur name for many many years. I had the best time there for my bday recently. There was a group of 4 and 2 were first timers. We had so much fun that none of us even took phones out for pictures!!! It was my bday and we all had such a good time. If intimate, friendly, affordable fun is what you want then The lantern is the place to go!! I just wanted to say this place is a place for who wants to go there that's fine so be it but when it comes to I I don't let 0 disrespect me ! 1 so called Woman that ran the joint Ma was the 1st because someone in the whole world in which they were in that Little space disrespected me by slanderous behavior and I brushed it off until the Owner Of the lantern allows it because she doesn't know me from 0 and threatened to tell my mother and I said I'll tell my mom before you because I tell the truth and I did and 1 to 1 my mom confronted Ma and Ma apologized and was forgotten then shit happened and Ma Became ill and was a patient of Whittier Rabilation hospital ward hill mass and my #1 mother and I went on visit her because because she took a huge turn and mom and I showed her that present time we cared and she passed in peace but it wasn't over for business but I mind my own business but apparently because I in your business and you're not aware of running around loose is goose but ☝️ knows I'm neither I'm sure restasour Say...

Typically locals come here but everyone's welcome..it's open late so people pile in from the other local bars late night, even staff lol... karaoke on Fridays, and/or Saturdays, not sure when actually...you can challenge skilled pool players at the pool table (or amateurs like me)...kenos pretty popular here as well! Very reasonable prices for quality drinks...never had the hotdogs but...
