Wendy's — Restaurant in Haverhill

The food was great and order correct, no issues there whatsoever! I have come here before and had the same, good experience. I had a really bad, humiliating experience today at the drive through however, that was certainly no misunderstanding. I have a paralyzed vocal chord, so my voice is understandably abnormal, most accurately described as very similar to that of a deaf person.

When I was ordering, the person on the microphone couldnt help but burst out laughing. I continued ordering, assuming this was unrelated to me. As I went on, it was blatantly obvious the order taker was mocking my voice, changing from a normal womans voice to speaking in a very high pitched voice with a sarcastic tone to me. They still couldnt help but laugh at me, and there was another woman in the background joining in on the fun. When I was ordering, the order taker actually was pretending not to hear a certain order, Im assuming to get a reaction out of me and laugh even more. I repeated one order about 4 times, and she would just keep saying "10 piece nugget" back to me.

I understand my voice is really easy to laugh at, and I honestly am not the most offended by that part. It was more offensive that they couldnt wait until I couldnt hear them to make fun of it, and instead did it blatantly as if I couldnt hear them or something.

I have never written a bad review in my life. I still dont even want to write this, because maybe they thought I was faking having a disability and didnt want to deal with a rude kid. I understand I dont know their side of it, which is why im not doing a super angry 1 star review. I see the reviews here mention no similar experience so I am hopeful it was an off day or they thought I was faking my voice....

I just got home after coming here for a quick meal via drive through. The person over the intercom was nice, and so was the lady at the first window with the sparkly yellow nails. The third window was where it got a little weird. I pull up, it’s not even busy. This dude with curly hair and sparse facial hair opens the window with this weird look on his face. My man didn’t even say anything to me. Just had that uncomfortable look. He hands me my drink, I say “thank you”. He then hands me my food, I say “thank you” again. This man’s face didn’t even change. Dude’s just… creepy. And he didn’t give me a straw. I even looked in the bag to see if there was one thrown in there just so I didn’t have to look at him again. There wasn’t one there. So I wait and he opens the window, again saying nothing. Not even asking why I’m there. I asked for a straw and my guy, face still unchanging, hands me a whole hand full. I was a little baffled so I was like “nah, just one is good” and took it before driving off. I’ve never been more...

i switch up my lunches with various fast food places in the Plaistow area, wendys was always a safe place to go, good food and service, but on this day i was in there and there was no one at the counter, and i had to call out to people into the kitchen to get someone to take my order, while i was waiting, i noticed an abundance of flies buzzing around in the order/front kitchen area, when the guy came to take my order, he acted like i was interrupting him or something and didn't want to be there, i asked him about the flies, he turned around saw all the activity of them buzzing around and said "oh, don't mind that, its been like that for weeks" needless to say, but i left the store without ordering, if its been like that for weeks, i can only guess at how dirty the kitchens are and the germs on the food must be plentiful. i will never go back to this location, and have not been to any...
