Pats Pizzeria & Grill. — Restaurant in Havre de Grace

I order from here all of the time. It is a reliable food experience. I know that what I order is what is going to arrive at my door. My current favorite menu items are the tomato soup and grilled cheese (I add a bunch of changes to the sandwich, because I have weird taste, and they let me eat what I want, which I appreciate tremendously), and I also now really love the cauliflower crust. I don't know exactly how they did it, but it was a great substitute for the real thing. My husband and I always say that "all roads lead to Pat's" when we don't know what we are in the mood for, because they do everything, and surprisingly well. The promised time of delivery seems long, but they are usually faster than that (under promise, over deliver). The food is always hot, they always think of the little things that you may want like napkins or condiments, the delivery drivers are always polite and quick, and I really love their very diverse menu. This place knows the formula for great food done right. I am just so happy that they hop the bridge for us. The North East one also delivers to us, but the HdG one is better, imo. Not that NE is bad, just not as good. Thanks for the years of really stellar food and service! *BTW, fried onions seem like a small thing, but your cooks always make them perfectly caramelized, and they season them, which really makes a difference. I had previously left a positive review, but I had to change it, because on 9/23/17 we ordered a pizza and it was pretty disappointing. I've gotten pizza from here before and it was awesome, so I'm not sure what happened. This time I got the square shape, thinking it would be thick therefore more delicious. There was hardly any pepperoni, cheese, or sauce. In other words it was basically bare. I'm annoyed that this was $15. I paid with a $20, but that's 20 dollars I could've used for something else. Yeah it was tasty, but when a pizza costs that much money there's no way it should be missing toppings and/or sauce, that's just completely unacceptable. I don't think I'll be getting a pizza from here again. I feel like eating out nowadays is such a let down. It's hard enough being a millennial and trying to have a sufficient amount of money for things, so when I pay for food I want it to be worthwhile. If you're going to give people crummy food then at least make it cheap.

And as for your cheesesteaks/Italian hoagies, stop skimping on the meat, that's what I was referring to when I said they...

I used to order 2 to 3 times a week. I don't know if they have someone new cooking that doesn't know what they are doing but the food just isn't the same anymore. I have had pizzas delivered numerous times that all the cheese has slid to one side(delivery guys fault),crab cakes have so many shells in them, steak(for subs) is tough and my last and final order was 2 days ago. I ordered chicken parmigiana with spaghetti.The chicken was unrecognizable. After the 1st bite I looked at the chicken thinking.. did they give me veal instead? The breading was soggy..fine, sauce will do that...even when it is very minimal sauce..,but the meat itself was so overcooked and rubberized, that it actually had a crunch to it. The spaghetti tasted like bare pasta because of the lack of sauce. Needless to say, another meal from Hdg Pat's went into the trash. Really disappointed because they have been my favorite place to order from for more than 10 years. But the last year has been horrible. Will not be...
