My "Aunty" Kay brought some lychee paletas over for my mom and I to try. Wow! We loved them! They were very sweet, but we thought they tasted wonderful. The lychee paletas had pieces of fresh fruit in them. They were heavenly! My mom and I loved them so much that we wanted to share our "discovery" with our friends. We went there today and bought 36 paletas as gifts for friends. Pandamonia's Paleta Palace has paletas with and without dairy. The left side of the case contains dairy, and the right does not. (I only took a photo of the left/dairy side of the case.) There is a large selection of flavors. The current seasonal flavors are lychee and mango. Another popular flavor that is not seasonal is the passion fruit (lilikoi). The woman there, Lianne, was very friendly, warm, and kind. We had a wonderful conversation with her. Lianne packed the individually-wrapped paletas in Ziplock bags with ice for me. That was a very considerate touch. Pandamonia's Paleta Palace is located at the ground level of the Alii Ice Plant. At first I went up the stairs to what looked like a window, but it was actually at ground level on the right side with tables and chairs outside. There is a door to enter and order. Inside is small but charming, like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. They also serve ice cream, but I did not look at the ice cream flavors. I was too focused on the paletas. I'm sure the ice cream is wonderful, too! I highly recommend Pandamonia's Paleta Palace for paletas or ice cream! What a...

Best shave ice and paletas in Hilo! They aren't pretentious at all, they serve their shave ice in sensible cups, instead of those plastic flowers, and their treats are so yummy with intense but not too strong flavors. My daughter got a mango shave ice, and she couldn't stop eating it. I tried it and it was amazing! Usually, shave ice is usually too overpowered with the syrup, but this wasn't! My wife and I got lychee&cream and lilikoi(passion fruit) paletas. They both tasted like the real deal! Sometimes these types of things taste like a weird version of the fruit, but these flavors were spot on. 👍 Would recommend this if you passed...

At Ali'i Ice, you can sample paletas in a rainbow of colors with a huge variety of tempting flavors! What are paletas? They look like popsicles, but they are way more delicious and satisfying. That's because this traditional Mexican dessert is made from fresh natural fruits such as strawberry and mango and also creamy ingredients like chocolate or peanut butter. Dairy and non-dairy options are both available. My favorite is chocolate + peanut butter, but I'm looking forward to trying the mango cream and green tea latte! They also sell shave ice and traditional ice cream. And the ladies serving you are as sweet as the...
