Nice place to stop, picnic, and take a swim. There is no “real” beach. It is mostly lava rocks and corral to water or grassy edge. There are bathrooms and a shower. It was a beautiful relaxing spots with many families enjoying the water. You could put in a paddle board and go around the bay from this location. Only complaint is the homeless people wandering around. Carts full, looking through trash.

Small beach park with green space, picnic benches and sandy area around the bay. Great place for a short swim or a stand up paddle Great place for a casual family gathering There are bathrooms as well as showers available for use Find parking in the large parking lot of on the street (along the road) . Make sure to read parking signs

Okay gonna be flat out about this. Parking lot area is sketchy. There is alot of homeless and drug users that hang out here. I know this because I know some of them lol. Water quality is bad. I believe some months back there was a huge sewage spill here and someone asked was if it was safe to swim and my reply back was that if there was still toliet paper floating I would suggest not. With that being said... the grass area (near ice ponds side) is nice to have picnics at as long as i can park along the roadway where I can see my vehicle. Parking there is limited so keep a eye out. Its a nice place to walk dogs or even jog along the pathways. I wouldnt want my kids to swim there but hey lots of people do and not like these kids grew a extra ear or anything. Bathrooms is decently clean as long as you dont have to sit down. Work dem...

Small beach park near the port. We stopped by after getting some late takeout for lunch since the restaurant had no dine-in option.

There are a few picnic tables and a few people around but overall not many people there. The place wasn't dirty, but it also didn't seem well upkept. There are a bunch of street parking directly adjacent to the park.

There are a few homeless people wandering around, sleeping on benches and digging through trash, though none seemed dangerous. Also some sleeping pads (homeless) near...
