Dear Bob's Boston Pizza,

I recently had the opportunity to try your pizza in Kailua, and I must say that I was disappointed with the overall experience. While I appreciate your effort in creating a unique Boston-style pizza, I found it to be lacking in quality compared to other pizza options, even including Pizza Hut Express inside Target.

What struck me the most was the attitude and demeanor of your employees. They seemed to carry themselves as if they were working at a top-notch pizza establishment, yet the pizza itself did not live up to those expectations. It is disheartening to encounter a sense of entitlement and rudeness from staff members who should be passionate about pizza and providing excellent service.

As someone who has experienced truly exceptional pizza, I couldn't help but notice the shortcomings of Bob's Boston Pizza. The sauce, touted as being unique with a hint of sweetness, did not compensate for the overall lackluster flavor and quality of the pizza. It is perplexing that a place claiming to represent Boston-style pizza falls short when compared to renowned pizza cities like New York and New Haven.

What I like about Bob’s Pizzeria is the extra effort they put into making your pizza perfect. After selecting our pizza, we made a request to have the crust extra crunchy, and they happily obliged. After you make your pizza selection, they reheated in the oven and make it to your liking. This small touch elevated the flavors to another level.

Bob’s Pizzeria offers a variety of pizza options, from classics like pepperoni to more elaborate choices like the supreme version. The pizza slices are generously sized, giving you a hearty meal. In addition to pizza, they also offer bread, salads, and a selection of drinks, including canned or bottled water.

One of the great things about Bob’s Pizzeria is that they provide outdoor seating on a patio, perfect for enjoying your meal in the pleasant Hawaiian weather. While there isn’t an indoor dining area, the food is reasonably priced, making it a fantastic option.

So we were at another must have place in town and saw another customer come in to order even though they already had pizza take out in their other hand. Figured they must know how to eat so we asked them where they got the pizza.

That lead us to Bob's Pizzeria. We were pleasantly surprised by how light the crust was. I wouldn't really call it a thin crust, it was the best part of a crisp thin crust but with more substance. Not very greasy. My wife joked that she felt healthy eating it.

We got a slice of the Garlic Spinach Peperoni and the Pepperoni, both were very good and at very reasonable prices. The slices are a quarter of a 19inch pie! I am still thinking of the hot and cheesy slices hours after eating them.

Close to the beach and perfect for people returning their kayaks after paddling for hours. I will definitely have to stop by again when by this part of the island.
