Califas Mexican Food — Restaurant in Hawaii

This is a food truck not a restaurant.

I spent over $40 ordering a taco salad and one of each taco to try a variety of items. All of the meats were very dry. I did not taste any cumin, coriander, chili or garlic. The salsas were not flavorful or spicy.

My BIRRIA taco came WITHOUT Consume 🤯 I went back to the truck counter to inquire and the woman in the window literally rolled her eyes at me and told me ‘No’!!! Sorry but it’s not a birria taco without consume! It’s just a quesadilla with dry meat in it.

I did enjoy sitting outside to eat, even though the flys were a little bit of a nusance. The food and service we will not be back for.

We were hangry—like, dangerously hangry—and this food truck saved our lives. We got the Cheeto quesadilla and Cheeto burrito, and OMG… absolutely next-level. Crunchy, cheesy, flavorful, and packed with just the right kick. It was messy in the best way and so satisfying. Every bite was heaven, and it hit the spot like no other.
