5 stars, only because when i got there to pick up our food Shanel greeted me with a huge and happy welcome. Felt like i was coming over to a family gathering or the like, so it was comfortable and also felt like coming home. When i first walked into my welcoming from her, the atmosphere was upscale and very clean. You can tell she put in some hard work and dedication into her job on how terrific she maintained not only her workspace, but the entire restaurant from the lighting fixtures to the ground underneath the tables. Even though i was only there for a brief time, i was able to get her name and she our conversation, although short, was so cool because you can tell her awesome personality from the moment she smiles to welcome you. She had my order ready to go packed nice and neat in a to-go bag and reassured me that the food was still warm and had all my utensils and what not all in the bag ready to feed my family with some delicious food. I usually don’t like going to restaurants and was skeptical about picking up the order there because i usually mess up on the order if i tell them over the phone and the app doesn’t make it specific enough for me so i can make my orders accurate, since me and my family like our food a certain way. But she changed all of that as soon as i got there because of her outgoing and friendly conversational welcome that brought huge comfort and steadiness after a stressful day. I know it might’ve just been quick, but it definitely set the coast for me on an extra positive note for the rest of the day/evening. I’m so happy denny’s has such an awesome employee being there to make things happen and not to mention make things or a place feel like you belong there, as if everyone’s family and you’re just coming home to them. My visit happened on a busy Saturday night on March the 8th and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making sure every guest felt valued and taken care of. From the hostess Andrea to my server Gavin everyone was so delightful and kind.
The food was delicious and perfectly prepared—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. I got my Cali club and mango smoothie exactly the way I wanted. My order came out quickly and correctly with commercial quality presentation. Both Gavin and Andrea made sure I was happy by checking on me. I appreciated the team’s attention to detail and their commitment to ensuring a great dining experience.
Beyond the great food, the service was exceptional. The staff checked in regularly, refilled drinks before I even had to ask, and made sure everything was just right. I saw Andrea assisting with drinks and Gavin bringing additional items such as napkins and take out boxes. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in providing outstanding hospitality.
The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, creating a relaxing and enjoyable dining environment. The new sunset theme is as bright, cheerful, and uplifting as it's staff. It’s clear that the team at this location works hard to uphold excellent standards across the board.

Read moreUnfortunately, my recent experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I always come whenever I can when I'm in the area. While the wait time was short and the food came out as soon as it can, several service issues really impacted our visit.
My mom and I received our food before our drinks (3 drinks in total) Our server (and the only one) seemed to be backed up with serving other tables and side works, so we waited until she passed by our table to ask again. It was pretty dead with about 5-7 tablets, about 3 of those tables were finishing and standing up to pay when w got seated. While my Mom recieved her drink, I never received one of my drinks at all, and we ended up needing to cancel that part of the order. It was no issue and the server took it off at the end.
I also found a strand of hair or possibly a lint from a cloth in my food halfway through eating. It wasn't a long one, but it was visible enough (white/plain) under the light and embedded inside the burger meat. If it was a lint, I'll be a bit more relieved to know it wasn't hair since I understand the importance of wiping the cutting board/rinsing to keep it clean throughout service, especially for allergy & sanitary purposes. The staff remade my burger for to-go, which I appreciated, but I overheard employees loudly talking about it and saying things like, "It wasn’t me/That's not mine," which felt embarrassing and awkward.
