Genki Sushi USA. — Restaurant in Oʻahu

The guy(mr K) who greeted me looked like he was looking for a fight. He never smiled even when I was smiling at him or even to other customers while i was waiting for my order. There was an old man who was trying to use the kiosk to register for a table, he(mr k) looked at him and said, "Do you know what you're doing?". I believe the right question was, " do yo need help sir or can i help you with that sir?". Oh, by the way, he(mr k) put a no touching sign on the kiosk after that...lol Food is ok. I did not taste the whole menu. Just ordered a platter of some sushi. Kinda expensive, I know it's hawaiian price, but the bowl serving I bought was too small for the price. Check the pic I provided. I love sushi and the experience of eating here is fun. You get a little tablet, you order what you want from it, then a little race car stops in front of you to drop it off. It's great. If you need something from a server, just ring a little button and they come to check on you. There's a lot of reviews complaining about service, which I've personally never had problems with. They've always been courteous and constantly come to check on us if we want more water or tea.

I deduct a star only because though the sushi here is good, it's quality isn't quite as good as some other sushi places available on island. This is hardly an issue, though. I'd give it 4½ stars if I could. Can get busy around dinner time, so expect a wait if you go...

A small Genki shop located in Kaneohe that has typical food, prices, and options. This is a smaller business due to shopping center constraints but they offer seating for large groups and smaller groups. Service was slow and when we were seated the tables were not clean. When I order food they forgot my food and attempted to still charge me. The conveyor belt where the sushi and food rotated on was broken and the special order delivery system train that you order from the food tablet was slow and sometimes unresponsive. The parking lot is highly congested as it shares parking with other businesses. the interior is clean but it seems like the staff does not want to work or clean up the area.
