I took this photo halfway through eating, some components have been devoured. All I need to say is, LOCAL FOOD & food truck comforts. Burgers with local bakery buns, Kiawe smoked wood ribs and Hulu style chicken! Look for their specials like this Garlic shrimp. The only spot on the east side, let alone Kaua’i, that got this BBQ down. The owner is on the grill, so the quality is masterful; sets them apart from any chain bbq spot on island. They do an amazing breakfast on Sunday, highly recommend the Loco Moco

This is just a food truck so there isn't anywhere really to eat your food! But you should definitely stop by and grab a plate to go. There are only two options most of the time, half chicken or ribs. I got the chicken and it was fantastic! And a ton of food for under 20$. The ribs looked really good as well. It was super fast, just walk up and order and its ready once they get the plate together. If you like meat, I 10/10 recommend.

This place is AMAZING. Quality Local food with great service! Everytime I'm on island I always have to swing by to grab myself some huli chicken and ribs to stock my freezer. Such a quick great easy weeknight dinner for my family. That Huli chicken is delish shredded on salads.... made into the best chicken salad sandwiches.... in quesadillas.... and even for Chicken Pho. It gives the dish a nice smoky flavor.

But on top of buying to bring back to Oahu. I love to pick up any of their daily specials like Lechon, stew, fried noodles or my fave- the teri burger and fries! This place is a definite must. You...

If you are looking for great food that comes with a great price Richie’s is for you. As a local who’s lived in Kapaa for 14 years, I am feeling squeezed by the cost of living here. I’m searching for places that offer quality at reasonable costs. It seems to me that lately, in the last 4 years or so, restaurants in Kapaa have shifted towards tourists who don’t really care how much things cost. If that’s you, cool.
