Edit: I have now had the easure to meet the owner of this establishment. Ginger John is a beautiful man! So I gave this place another chance and I am happy I did. The girl running the grip was still in there burning something lol, smoking up the joint, but we just ordered raw,l food. The salad and fruit bowls were good. The service is always good and we go here to get cane juice almost daily for its healing properties. Glad we tried it again.

Very disappointed. Everybody is allowed a bad day I suppose. I have them from time to time. The one star is respresentative of the wonderful girl running the register. The rest of them either can't cook or weren't very nice.

The place is very clean.

The bbq Jackfruit was just okay because the bread Was Not very good, mostly dry and flavorless.

They burnt our chickpea burger twice, at least the second time they cut the burnt part off the bottom before they brought it out. This only served to remove the crispy part, which had it not been burnt would have made the sandwich much better.

They crammed an okay sized side salad with kraut and dressing cups into a very small bowl which made it difficult to eat.

I had high hopes for this place because all the food from their farm is grown using Korean Natural Farming Methods, which are Litterally a Godsend to us for these times in which we live, but even the most conscious owner is only represented by the employees they hire when they are not around. The girl running the register saved the day but the girls that can't cook burning 2 out of 2 sandwiches ruined it. LMAO! I actually smell the smoke from another unlucky customer's next sandwich! I may try this place again, but $84 for a gallon of fresh pressed cane juice that was not really fresh pressed, 3 sandwiches, and a side salad...I'm not running back to blow another hundo for a skinny burnt lunch.lol To be fair that was with a 20% too which if you put it on your card you must pretip. Had I had the opportunity to pay after the meal I probably would not have tipped as much, maybe if the girl at the register didn't have to split it with the rude girl and the...

This is the first restaurant on all my reviews where I wish I could give 20 stars instead of 5. Would probably mess up the logistics lol Sweet Cane Cafe healthy, gluten free options, and vegan menu is amazing! It’s not just your regular vegan restaurant lacking in flavor and depth but they go above and beyond to make sure you are not just eating healthy but eating fricken GOOD. I’ve had quite a few things on their menu thus far. Everything is well thought out for your body, belly and health. Little hint If you like sour Krout theirs is homemade and the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Menu ideas use sustainable local ingredients full of Hawaiin veggies fruits and flavors. Their cacao durian smoothie was so heavenly I actually prefer it in taste over McDonald’s and fast food shakes any day of the week. The pizza is tangy and full of unique flavor and nuttiness. The ambiance is super chill clean and zen and the people that help make this place happen are all full of good energy and love. Please if you frequent this place tip generously because there is a lot of extra time spent good causes they are doing behind the scenes they don’t even talk about and thus brings the spirit and soul of Sweet Cane Cafe full force in a magical healing edible earth form for us all to try“True Charity is done in secret and comes from the heart not the mouth for praise and organization status. It doesn’t let one hand see what the...

First off this place is beautiful and welcoming inside. The staff was very helpful they went above and beyond expectations. I figured I'd try something new and healthier this place did not dissapoint! Sautéed vegetables were great with the right amount of flavor. I do recommend an added sauce to the Burger there wasn't much seasoning or spice which is fine for healthy food. I got the Hungry farmer but as a burger with a Caesar salad. The homemade sauces were fantastic! I love when people make thier own sauces it really adds an authentic and natural flavor. The smoothie i got was the Nutty treat it was great the banana was a little over powering but you could probably ask for no banana if you dont like that flavor they seemed really flexible when it came to customizations. I give them alot more leeway when it comes to overall flavor because this place is healthy and vegetarian/vegan but it was...

A cool find in Hawaii where my habits have usually been greasy and wrapped in plastic. Because I have been making an effort to produce less plastic waste, it has been difficult to eat out on this trip (I still do, but feel a bit guilty). I grew up here, so know enough about the average eatery and the pros and cons. Sweet Cane Cafe has a lot of locally made wonders ranging from honey, macadamia nut butter, and lotions lined up at the cash register. Good for buying gifts that are not corporate and tacky. Their menu has a bunch of vegetarian choices(5 different types of veggie patty to start). Smoothies and other drinks come in glasses to be enjoyed in-house and compostable cups for those on the run. This is a big plus for waste conscious people if they have some time to spare. Ginger kick blended coffee and jalapeno ulu (breadfruit) burger was delicious.
