Of course I had to come back! Love the mom and pop shop vibe versus big box pizza. There’s a lot of variety here from pizza to pasta to chicken wings.

This is my second time coming here for takeout and both times I felt incredibly welcomed, the customer service was so friendly and personable. Love supporting local, family run business.

I recommend the large pepperoni pizza. Comes with 3 toppings of your choice total! The marinara sauce sways on the sweeter side, but it hits the spot — super cheesy and gooey.

1/2025 If you’re looking to support a truly genuine and passionate local mom-and-pop shop (it’s mother and son run now!), Valentino’s Pizza in Hawaiian Gardens is an absolute must-visit. This gem has been a cornerstone of the community since 1994, with its roots in Southern California going back to 1985.

Valentino’s serves up an amazing mix of Italian-American and Greek-American-inspired pizzas. Fun fact: Did you know pizza’s origins are shared by both Greece and Italy? That unique blend of cultures comes through in every bite here. Beyond the pizzas, the menu features delicious pastas (y’all have to try the classic gnocchi as well as the fusion tteobboki gnocchi coming at the end of this month), wings, garlic bread, and even an Italian café (currently open at 11 AM but soon to be open as early as 8 AM and will be on DoorDash). I was blown away by the honey lavender latte—something I wouldn’t usually order, but it was absolutely incredible, even for a non-coffee drinker like me.

Their pizza comes in various sizes to fit your needs, and whether you’re dining in (small outdoor and indoor seating available), taking out, or ordering online, the experience is homey and authentic.

We've eaten here more times than I'm willing to admit. Every time, it blows my mind how incredibly amazing the food is, how very reasonable the prices are, and how amiable everyone working there is. The first time we ordered, I was surprised by the sweeter sauce. Don't misunderstand - it's awesome; I just wasn't prepared for it. The quality of everything far exceeds that of any chain (and that of any other local place we've tried to date). We've tried a lot of menu items, but the pizza is by far the best, and our most favorite item. Cheese lovers, take note - this is our place! Also, toppings...toppings as far as the eye can see. Valentino's is not shy about loading up a pizza. And let's not confuse the Hawaiian Gardens location with the Lakewood one - they are NOT the same. The HG location is what you want. If you order online, the time estimates are often wrong, so give them a few extra minutes. It's worth the wait! See you again, soon,...

Yoooo... I'm disappointed in the fellow reviewers.. Well I guess I'm guilty too Been coming here years for their pizza.. it's always been fresh, authentic, and a whole hidden gem for CHEEAP PRICES! Never tried anything else as feeding 5 wouldn't of been as cost effective. My elderly Mom has been asking for lasagna but admittedly, Italian is my least fave but tonight was the night..

Ordered a Lasagna Dinner and ribs dinner..

Tonight my life was changed... .The lasagna was so amazing! Delivered but piping hot, loaded with cheese. Amazingly authentic fresh sauce . Nothing acidic, sour or fake about it We did a double take with eachother as biting into ribs. Wouldn't even say bite. They just fell apart, so tender with good Bbq sauce. Then you remember the price and become blown away all over that with fresh bread and a salad, $13.99 is amazing New...
