At 27.99 per person as the weekend price for all you can eat from their full menu, this place sits at a better value than average compared to other AYCE Korean BBQ joints in the area, but that's probably their only strong point. That, and the free ice cream at the end. If getting decent KBBQ for a good price is your only concern, then Gangnam will be suitable enough. Other reviewers have already noted the loud atmosphere. On top of the fact they chose generic hip-hop and Spanish club music as their playlist, they choose to blare it at obnoxious levels, so it becomes difficult to hold conversations and convey orders to the staff. This may be why they brought the wrong items a few times to our table. That, or they are understaffed or tasks aren't delegated optimally. Our original server ended up needing to clear tables, and it was sometimes difficult to get someone else to come by in between orders (wherein, by the way, you can only ask for three meats at a time). Coupled with the bass booming around and up through some truly uncomfortable hardwood booth seating, it did not make for an overall pleasant dining experience. A couple of words of caution too, as well, if you want to give Gangnam a try for yourself. Please do wear shoes that have proper grip. The floor is such that if there's even a little bit of wetness, it will be very slick. Also, they use a standard cricular tabletop grill that's a little bit elevated rather than a grill that's in a well. Because of how watery their marinate is for some items, not only will it impact the flavoring but it will cause a significant amount of oil spattering depending on the state and heat of your grill.

I may be jaded in this review (for the record) because I thought that not allowing any form of reservation on a Saturday Night is inconvenient and #dumb. They basically force you to wait 45 min with no real waiting area. Everyone just stands around in close quarters waiting for their name (great plan guys). I actually didn't follow the herd and went 3 doors down and had a drink and some delicious dumplings as I waited. Once you get past that silliness you get to the meal and restaurant. Overall the price was pretty fair for an all - you - can - eat Korean BBQ and the meat was okay. They limit you to one serving per person of the better meats, but that seemed fair for the 19.99. The service was good and they were attentive. Nothing will knock your socks off here but if you're craving Korean BBQ you will feel like you got what you came for. One thing I didn't pay enough attention to but once I noticed I couldn't stop seeing it everywhere was how unclean everything was. Under the table was full of trash, the bathroom was unkempt, I forgot that I cleaned the shot glasses and dishes I was given because they had a bunch of dishwater still on them. Overall that stuff doesn't bother me much, but I did notice. Overall the food is decent and they are fair with what they give you. They don't deal with being busy well and cleanliness and good policy feel the brunt of that.

They have a Really solid selection of meat choices but the prices make it MUCH better. I’ve never seen a KBBQ place this cheap before in ages, and discovering this place for lunch is a hidden gem. However, despite this, I’d say that the meat quality is definitely mediocre at best due to the fact that some of the meat does come out straight up frozen sometimes. Idk what it is, but the thinly sliced pork belly came out rock solid with the ice still in-tact which was slightly concerning however most of the meet was fresh. However, I found no problems with the flavor or anything else bad regarding the meat itself. Further, I loved the fact that they had so much variety to their menu. Usually things like kimchi pancake or tofu soup would be either extra or added to a more expensive menu but for just 21.99 (on Weekday lunch hours), you can get so much on the weekday Menu A. I do feel like the restaurant were understaffed at times at certain hours too because it can be hard to get a hold of some but that’s whatever. Also ice cream was delicious! Atmosphere wise, I think it fits the vibe of many local KBBQ spots. Also make sure to ASK for them to lower the heat early on because I remember crazy flames coming through the grill at first. Other than that, it’s a really solid local KBBQ Restaurant and I WOULD come here again!

Flavors on fire!

Gangnam Station in Buena Park stands out as a delicious destination, particularly known for its exceptional Premium All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ experience. My family and I recently visited, and the expansive menu of high-quality meats, including tender bulgogi and marinated short ribs, left us thoroughly impressed. The grilling experience at the table adds an interactive and enjoyable element to the meal.

What truly sets Gangnam Station apart is not only the succulent meat but also the delightful array of sides that accompany the BBQ. From the classic kimchi to the various pickled vegetables and flavorful dipping sauces, each element complements the meats perfectly. The attention to detail in presenting these traditional Korean side dishes adds authenticity to the dining experience.

The staff at Gangnam Station is not only attentive but also knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and providing helpful grilling tips. The cozy yet modern ambiance further adds to the overall dining pleasure, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or a night out with friends.

One highlight of our visit was the Premium AYCE option, which allowed us to savor a diverse selection of meats without restraint. As the evening unfolded, we found ourselves thoroughly satisfied and delightfully full, a testament to both the quality and quantity of the offerings.

For those seeking a genuine taste of Korean BBQ with a premium touch, Gangnam Station in Buena Park is a must-visit. The combination of mouthwatering meats, delectable sides, and attentive service ensures a memorable dining experience that will leave you craving a...

What started off as a great experience showing up not having to wait in a line went south very quickly here. My friends and I were placed in the center where two tables were pushed together and the table next to us was completely filthy and covered with plates and uneaten food and our table needed to be wiped down there were other tables that were clean I do not know why we were placed at this one. We went ahead and tried to ignore it and the waiter finally came around and took our order and we went to order beer to find out they are completely out of every beer which was disappointing and then when the waiter actually brought out our order he brought us different stuff than what we ordered but we still tried it out and then made sure we received the correct food next round. We had to ask for the essential items such as chopsticks and napkins which weren't provided upon sitting. Overall unsatisfied with the customer service and the food because the food we received was nothing but low end fatty pieces of meat that were inedible. Literally more than half the food they brought us we could not eat, I cannot believe I decided to upgrade to the 19.99 menu it is a complete waste of money and not worth what we paid. I'd rather go to a better quality place like gens and spend $20 knowing I'll be receiving better service and better quality food that I can actually eat. I will never return to this place ever again and I STRONGLY recommend no one else ever bother to try this place. You will be wasting your time and money when you can get quality food...
