Hopping Eagle Brewing Company — Restaurant in Hawley

We stopped by here on our way home on Saturday from a ride out in the country. As a lover of craft beer, my buddy recommended it to me. It's in the old silk mill in Hawley. Can't miss it as it looks like a castle. Everyone was friendly and the beer was phenomenal. They had a guy playing the guitar and singing. I had a flight and bought some four packs to go. We stumbled upon Hopping Eagle while traveling home from New York and passing Lake Wallenpaupack, this brewery is just a couple minutes from the lake! The place was hopping (pun intended) on a Saturday afternoon which is always a good sign. The two guys working the bar were very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. A good spot on a Sunday afternoon to relax. A varied range of beers, some quite strong. A choice of serving sizes and tasting tray with 4 smaller glasses was a good choice to get started.
