Our family stopped here just on a complete whim to look at antiques. We were completely blown away when we walked into the museum part which is in the lower level in the basement. I had never seen Vaseline glass. Under ultraviolet light it glows from the uranium content that is mixed into the glass. The owner of all of the special glass told us that he has the largest collection of this class in the world in the basement. And what he was showing on display is only 60% of what he has. He was super friendly and talk to us for quite a few minutes about all of his clocks and glass and Steinway pianos.
