Worst cake I have ever seen. A month prior to receiving the cake, I called and texted in regards to having a cake with a specific detailed bug design. The person that I was speaking to on the phone through text and call reassured me that they can make the beetle decorations though it'd be assembled with different food materials. I agreed to that and emphasized that that it looks presentable just like the photo. The whole reason why I even went to this bakery was to get this cake.

My expectations on my birthday were destroyed. The beetles were absolutely horrendous. Ugly beyond compare. Looked nothing like the reference image I had provided. I was so upset over how the decorations looked that I demanded they remove it from the cake before my family went to pick it up. For a price at $120 for a custom cake, this was an unprofessional job and mediocre.

The cake flavor itself tasted exactly like a grocery store cake. There was nothing special about my cake at all other than that it was tall and expensive.

They refused to give me a partial refund on this $120 purchase. This cake is NOT worth the price I paid for. Far beyond it. This is the most disappointing cake I have ever received from a bakery.

Would give 0/5 stars if I could, they failed on every aspect on customer service, presentation, cost, and taste. Don't waste your money here unless you really want a basic cake or to be disappointed like me. Ruined my whole day. Would never come back here again, go somewhere else. This is my cupcake place! I go here once a week to buy their cupcakes, the owner is the one who makes everything, she makes the cupcakes fresh everyday and they are so delicious. The whip cream is always soft and not too sweet. The owner and her husband are both very friendly. I always call before going because sometimes they are out doing deliveries so they are not open also some days they will sell out on cupcakes so I would call ahead of time to make sure that they have some and they will also hold them on the side till you get there. This is a family business and it is nice to support the local businesses. I would definitely recommend them/ I always recommend them...

The cake was great and very beautiful. The only reason I didn't give the 5 stars is because first they told me I could pick up the cake between 11-1:30pm because they close at 2pm. The day of pick up they said "what time can you come to make sure someone is here" I said I am sending someone around 12pm. They said Ok, they never mentioned this meant they were planning to leave early. Then at 12:45 they called saying they are locking up and if the cake was not picked up with in minutes, it will not be able to be picked up any more!! Luckily my cousin was almost there, and picked it up, but they really scared us. Not very professional...
