It is ALWAYS one person that is NOT the best in customer service, I am being polite. I first found out about the discount because a supervisor or manager seen me in my work uniform (USPS) and appreciated our service. I informed a different employee of my last visit and received the same discount. I go once a month or every couple of months, I do not abuse, or misuse the discount. Tonight I went after work still in uniform, I told another employee about receiving the discount from the manager or supervisor, she replied " we only have discounts for police, seniors, and employees " "you do not look old". This is not acceptable regardless of my look if a manager or supervisor does it and another employee does that same thing, the thing being the discount then that must not be a problem. I usually have a good experience with this location up until today. I received my curbside confident it would be great as always. I get home only to realize I didn’t have any utensils, dressing to my salad, or any other condiments. I call and get the assistant manager Aaron Cruz. Immediately upon telling him he told me if I wanted a refund to bring the food back! I explained if he could just issue me a refund for the salad he said to bring it in!! I was appalled that he actually had me bring food in to only tell me upon arrival that the refund would happen tomorrow when the store manager was there. I repeated what he asked of me to do I brought the salad back and i just wanted my money back he said well I’ll have to refund you cash not original payment....

El pollo loco offering a chips and guacamole if you sign up. I did sign up and when I went to the restaurant and show the cashier the free chips and guacamole and she had no clues. She asked someone and they said to her that I'm getting a small portion and they're not lying because I received the chips and guacamole I was actually shocked because there's only 10 chips in it and a ramekin of guacamole.
