These stores Torrance and Hawthorne Best Buy's are among the worst companies in the South Bay. I am not talking about the hired help. They are all fantastic. Even the contract help, Geek squad and Samsung representatives are amazing. They all deserve 5 🌟stars. It's management, in the stores. Corporate, phone systems, including automated systems, and credit card customer services. Which are outside the stores. We, as consumers, put up with this non-sense because there aren't a lot of stores that can compete with its volume, variety, price, value, and brand names of the electronics these stores provide. I have been a long-time customer of both these stores for more than eight years now. I have bought a variety of electronics. I have been having problems contacting them. Problems with the sale of an item. They do not tell their employees what they really need to know to inform the customer. They don't fully disclose exactly what l am buying and what l need to take place at my home for proper installation and service. For instance, l bought a 75 inch televion Samsung that needs the internet to operate properly. They wanted me to bring it in because they only service online products at my home. The telephone l purchased a Samsung with the phone provider. It's been a living nightmare for four years. My phone to this day doesn't operate right. Now, this is where my biggest complaint is and has been for 18 months now.. I used my Best Buy Visa card with a $4000.00 unsecured credit limit to purchase a Google Pixel 7 PRO $989.00 more than a year ago. I couldn't keep the phone because l had the obligation with AT&T. After my bank received payment from AT&T Because they started double dipping from two different checking accounts, l returned the phone for a full refund. However, unbenouncd, T-Moble never closed my account. For 7 months l kept calling Best Buy Visa card services, which is operated by Citi Bank to no avail. They dropped the ball twice and stated over the phone da," we can't get our money back from T-Moble." So we are going to charge you, meaning me. I told them that they were crazy. I even reported this blatantly stealing money to the Torrance police department. So it was AT&T who started the snowball effect. Then, my bank had to straighten things out. Then T-Moble blamed it on their automated systems. Stole money from Best Buy thy stoled money from me. And it is still going on. It was me who switched card numbers and, again, my idea to close my BB account. Nothing has been resolved. My credit score went from 800's to 600s. To add insult to injury, T- Moble stuck me with an underrated bill for $149.92. Best Buy Visa card is at over $1000.00. In which l am not responsible for.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a washer and dryer on 10/10/21 and scheduled delivery for 10/16/21. Delivery guys said I needed to replace my plumbing valves (before installing the new units) so I paid $350 to replace them that day and scheduled a 2nd delivery attempt for 10/23/21 between 7am-11am. I received multiple text and email confirmations throughout the week and even the night before on 10/22/21. Then this morning 10/23/21 (day of scheduled delivery) at 7:24am I receive an email confirming a 7:40am ETA, nobody showed up to my house, nobody knocked on my door, nobody rang my Ring doorbell, I received no phone calls, I even checked my house cameras. Then at 9:33am I get a text message to schedule my appointment. I've been downstairs waiting since 6:45am, I'm livid. I call the delivery number hotline and was told that there was a computer error system glitch with my appointment and they want to reschedule a 3rd attempt. I'm told they can come 10/30/21 but only to deliver my washer and dryer, but that they'll have to come back on 11/6/21 to install them! Just for the record, I paid for the new washer and dryer units to be installed and my old units to be hauled away on the same day. I will be out of town 11/6-11/7 weekend. I've asked to speak to a supervisor was placed on hold for 1 hour and 39 minutes before being hung up on while waiting (I let the agent know I was extremely unhappy, but never raised my voice and remained professional since I know he had nothing to do with my delivery), I was never able to speak to a supervisor. This is unacceptable, horrible service. Next time I need ANYTHING, I will NOT consider Best Buy.

I'm saddened by the incident that occurred to me this evening. I walked in to best buy already knowing what I was going to purchase and at first I asked a student worker if he could assist me in purchasing some wireless headphones as he was the only individual there. He informed me that he was not able to help so he pointed me towards another best buy worker who told me he would send someone to assist me. I go to the headphone section and patiently waiting when I see three individuals walking towards me and I assumed they were going to help so I flagged them down. One of the guys came at me demanding I give him the headphones and so I was bewildered and asked what headphones, he told me the ones in my pockets. At this point I didn't know what was happening so I felt puzzled and informed him that I didn't have anything just my phone and wallet, but he insisted that I turn in the headphones that I "stoled" and so i felt that there was no other option but to empty my pockets, being forced to be pocket-checked in front of everyone. It was so humiliating to be falsely accused of such robbery when I was an innocent man looking forward to buying my headphones. In the end the manager Carl simply apologized for the incident and gave me 10% discount. I felt like I was targeted based on my appearance and was discriminated. Would love to hear from a store manager or corporate about my incident and discuss this issue

(Note: this is for the third party At&T salesmen not direct best buy employees) My experience at Best Buy with AT&T sales rep Hirad was a masterclass in deception and incompetence. He sold me a fraudulent 5-line plan with blatant lies: -Promised a "seamless" switch from Spectrum for $250/month (2 new phones, Wi-Fi, full buyout of old devices). -Never mentioned or knew about the 90-day Spectrum requirement that i didn't find out till spectrum notified me (I was only at 30 days). -Canceled my Spectrum plan without consent, triggering a $3,000 immediate payoff demand to unlock my phones. -didn't find out until hours of being on the phone with multiple representatives that  3 of my lines would be useless for 60 days while waiting for reimbursement—stranding my family without phones for work and school which were urgently needed. But the nightmare only got worse when I tried fixing it: -All AT&T employees were clueless, including Hirad’s manager, Ahmad. I witness firsthand Hirad argue on the phone with AT&T customer service—while she blamed and shamed all the best buy all the best buy at&t employees for not doing their job in assisting me with my situation -Not even Ahmad’s boss would help, forcing us to drive to a total of 3 AT&T store—where nobody knew how to fix Hirad’s mess. -Ahmad refused calls from me and other managers—zero accountability. This isn’t just bad service—it’s fraudulent sales tactics, gross negligence, and a complete failure by AT&T and Best Buy to train or supervise their staff. I went 7 days withought phones when my family and i so desperatily needed them I lost not only gas, but money, time, and sanity because of their lies. I urgently advise consumers DO...

I know some of us are not always as great full as we should be, my acknowledgment.

I loved to go to Best Buy and shop to buy things for a couple of reasons

  1. The points I received for my purchases and I got those $10, 20, or more certificates to help buy other things. Their new CEO stopped this practice and now requires their customers to apply for a best buy credit card to get these points now.
  2. The go-to store for your needs in electronic & printers or analogy, etc, purchases.
  3. while getting the things you want at a competitive price! Yes, they price their items the same as every other retailer. Which does not give them an advantage 🤔
  4. Total tech is well worth it when you need it. It's like it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it kind of thing, so their's an advantage in this service. But it still will make me think for large purchases that this provides plus the points made my shopping at best buy a no brained. Now that's has changed. I purchased for the points now that it is gone. I will now shop around for a better deal for my buying dollars. I just spent over $5000.00 and found out about these changes at the time. I'm done stick a fork in me! You can get a warranty from anywhere with your purchase. Or even get a better price at most. Best buy is on the decline and soon will fall by the way side of they continue this trend. 🙌 Bring back my points 👉 the certificates never give allot away, but it was niece for spending and reaching a certain amount to get one was hands down exciting.

My shopping habits have changed after this recent change at where I will spend my hard earned money 💰 🤑...
