Hands Down Cookies — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Gluten-free reviewer here, I have to say that these gf chocolate chip cookies are giving me life. It is SO hard to find gf desserts that even come close to the real thing and wow these are the best gf cookies I've had since having to eliminate gluten. You would never know they were made any differently. Their texture is soft and chewy and are rich without being too heavy or sweet.

In terms of service, I am even more impressed than the cookies themselves. I accidentally ordered regular chocolate chip cookies and paid a crazy amount to have them delivered only to find that they weren't gf once delivered. I was so upset and decided to drive to their store to see if I can exchange them. They were so nice about my mixup and kept apologizing to me for MY mistake! They also gladly gave me the gf ones I needed for no additional charge and let me keep the regular ones which I was able to give to a friend. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff and cookies are just out of this world and I will definitely being ordering from them...

I was on my way to get ice cream next door when I saw this cookie spot that I just thought I'd "check out." The owners there were the friendliest, and I walked away with more delicious cookies than I intended. I took home a box-full and my family especially enjoyed the Snickerdoodle, Choco Chip, and a couple tasty creations I don't even see on the online menu... Thanks for baking a very memorable...
