Serious Concern for Those with Food Allergies or Medical Conditions
I recently ordered a Honey Mustard Chicken sandwich on Udi’s Gluten Free Bread from the Quiznos in the Hawthorne Commercial Center, as I have celiac disease — a serious autoimmune condition that makes consuming gluten/wheat dangerous for me.
Despite ordering and paying extra for gluten free bread, I was given regular bread which I realized after the fact. I trusted that the staff had prepared the order as requested, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Shortly after eating, I became extremely sick and have yet to fully recover.
After doing some research, I learned that Quiznos is supposed to take extra precautions when preparing gluten-free items, even if the customer doesn't specifically mention an allergy or medical condition. Clearly, that didn’t happen here.
Mistakes can happen, but with something as serious as food safety, especially involving gluten-free requests, there needs to be much more care and attention. This was not just disappointing, it was a dangerous oversight.
I truly hope this location reviews its food handling practices to ensure this doesn't happen to...
Read moreGreat customer service! It was my first time ever having Quiznos, I’m a fan of extra toasted subs at Subway and Jersey Mikes so I decided to try Quiznos, seeing as that’s what they’re known for. I will definitely be going back!
I got their large Monterrey Chicken sub with chipotle mayo and added jalapeños on their jalapeño cheddar bread and WOW! It was so good! Not only are their ingredients superior to Subway, they are just as customizable! The gentlemen helping me had patience for me and my questions and he let me customize my sub to my exact liking. Extra lettuce, extra chipotle mayo, add cucumbers, THE WORKS. He was really sweet and his customer service alone had made me a Quiznos customer instead of Subway.
This location is about 8 mins from my house and boy am I glad!
Highly recommend this Quiznos, great food, even better customer service at Subway prices....
Read moreI haven’t had Quiznos in over a decade and I was really missing the peppercorn sandwich. I went and I ordered one, and I walked out with a pastrami and meat sandwich. It did not taste anything like the peppercorn steak. Also, the horseradishes sauce Had too much mayonnaise in it, which made it very often putting. Quiznos of yesterday is long gone. I will never go to another Quiznos again, because the food has definitely changed. RIP, Quiznos The girl did not know what to do and it felt like a Subway experience as after she toasted the sandwich, she asked me what to add to it. What sauce, I guessed wrong. You should know how to make a signature sandwich instead of asking me to guess. There was not an IOTA of flavor of a peercorn steak sandwich. Even the peppercorn...
