Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Inglewood

So I called in my order today, a guy took my order, asked my name, and he said ok 10-15 min... ok... so I go pick up my order, a girl came up to register and I told her I called in my order, she asked what's the name? And I told her my name, she says no, and I say wha? Then she asked, what's the number and I preceded to tell her, by the 5th digit, she stopped me and said you're Jennifer, and I chuckled and said no I am not Jennifer! She then charged me for my meal, I went and started to get the sauces, and I could tell they were talking about me amongst each other, smiling and giggling, then once my order was ready, the girl came up to the sauce table put my food down, and said here's your food Jennifer. I said are you serious?? She continued with whatever she was doing, and I could have complained about her right there, but it would have been an argument with children working there. So that's why I brought it here. Ono needs to hire people that know how to act professional and have very good customer service. I've been a customer here for years, never had anything bad to say up until now. And honestly, don't think I'll be returning.. who wants their food given to them by disrespectful children that think they just can..... I hope Ono can fix this horrible customer service...

I went today at this place in Crenshaw and imperial Blvd, at 2:49 pm, the cashier was Bernice Perez , I made my order nicely, I was si excited thinking that I don’t have to cook today on mothers day , that’s way I wen to ono Hawaiian, Sii I explained to the cashier Bernice many times that my platter with everything,Mac salad , rice and vegetables, and also I told her that I just want beef , no chicken , no ribs , just my platter with beef, why it was so difficult for her to understand, May be because she was busy , at the rash hours, she was calling orders , and also at the register, at the same time , she wasn’t concentrated, customers were waiting in the the line for her , this place should have more employees specially at the busy hours, so that’s way she did a mistake , she wasn’t concentrated she gave me whatever she want . She gave me Ribs , and my son can’t eat those kind of ribs, they have to much fat , And make my son under age sick , that’s way I told her many times , I want beef . So I came back to home trusting that my order was correct, but not , and I I lost my money , because the ribs make us sick about the fat . The next time Bernice please pay attention to the customers , repeat the order back , and stop giving us and charging us what ever you...

Although I've seen this places many locations all over town for years, I just never had the desire to go there. A fairly new location has been built across the street from my mom's house (Crenshaw & Imperial location) and someone suggested we go there. I had difficulty deciding what I wanted and ended up choosing a dish that had chicken, rice, cabbage and macaroni. And I just knew I wouldn't like the macaroni (I usually don't). To my surprise, everything was really, really good (even the macaroni)! The location is conveniently located right next to McDonald's. The parking area is clean as well as inside the establishment. The young lady who took our order was polite, professional and very helpful with explaining how the meats were cooked and what sides come with each combo plate. The wait time was not too bad but it was a bit long. There is a small station on the side of the order counter with several condiments, sauces and napkins. We got our order to go but all and all it was a pleasant dining experience. I do recommend them. Thier 4 stars are...
