Yeah so this chicken sandwich is poppin. I went here a few days ago with my brother. I specifically ordered mine plain with nothing on it just so I could really get a taste of the sandwich. It was so good. Like really really "so good". Thigh meat. Not the classic chicken breast sandwich. Its dark meat and so much more juicy and tender because of it. Its not chick fil a. Its better. I cant eat chick fil a chicken sandwiches anymore because they bother my blood pressure. Weird because they dont taste over salty but they are. Not all sodium taste salty. I dont know what chick fil a uses but I cant eat it anymore. But these sandwiches, didn't effect my blood pressure one iota and they are large. Its a big sandwich. I was surprised. I could barely finish it. Even the seasoned fries were good. Which I didnt expect to like because I do prefer unsalted fries but these worked. Mozzarelle stick, regular pizzeria type. Nothing I would reorder. But the cannoli so dang good. The menu is really inexpensive. Single digits for most items. I will be reordering from here soon. As a side bar: I read all the reviews before going here and stared at the menu in the parking lot for 20 minutes before placing my order. I almost didnt place my order because of the negative reviews. But I am truly glad I the spot a chance. I met the owner. He isnt from here. Neither am I. I get his sense of humor and speech style. I can see why some folks may think he is abrasive. But I dont eat at places or enjoy food based on who cooks it or who owns it. The chicken andwich is excellent. Thats why I will be going back. Update 3/2023 Got another favorite! The fish sandwich is large with a nice dill tartar sauce. Been coming here 2+ times a month. They have always come through with great food.

Update 9/15: Carmen, the owner, reached out to me VERY shortly after my initial review. He apologized for the mishap and provide an explanation of the issue based on his investigation. He also asked me to give it another try.

My wife and I decided to give it a try and make it a lunch date. As promised, Carmen made it right. The beef was no longer dry, there are reasonable amount of juices, the topping was clean and crisps for a nice added textual, and bread was higher quality then I expected.

I spent a few minutes talking to Carmen and his wife Stephanie. Carmen explained that he wanted to make the Italian beef better, but due to the lack of the type of bread that would hold up to the large amount of aju, he didn't have any choice but to go with the best he can find. I total understand knowing what bread is needed and bakery not wanting to spend time and money to make it.

This isn't the best Italian beef I ever had, but for this area, I don't think you can get any better.

One of WORST if not the worst Italian beef I ever had. It was dry and so salty that I can't taste the beef. Don't know how something that was soaking is beef juice is so dry! Only thing good was the quality of the bread....
