A brain in a jar of pickle juice could do a better job than Connor.
I ordered a pizza with light cheese and extra sauce. What was delivered to me instead was a pizza with extra cheese and light sauce. That's gross, I don't want that. I called the store, and the dude who answered was audibly annoyed that I was calling and kept pushing me to just accept the refund. I don't want a refund, I want food, I'm hungry. I told him I would like the pizza delivered to me the way I ordered it, and in the exact tone that I would expect a moody teenage girl to respond, he goes "fiiiiiiiiine". Whatever, as long as I get my food, I don't really care that it's that time of the month for him. I get my food, and I'm completely dumbfounded as I open the box and see the exact same mistake was made again. A pizza with extra cheese and light sauce. I took a bite just to make sure, and it actually seemed that there was even MORE cheese and LESS sauce than the previous pizza. Are they screwing with me? I call them again, and some other dude answered and I explained what had happened, and I double checked my order to make sure that I wasn't the one who screwed up, and I made it very clear that I wanted a pizza with LIGHT CHEESE and EXTRA SAUCE. He assured me I would get exactly that in about 20 minutes. Well, 15 minutes later, the same guy calls me and says "Sorry we're closed now, we're just gonna refund you". You're kidding me, right? So I go to bed hungry and pissed off, work my shift the next day, starving the entire time, and I finally get off and try to order the pizza again. I call the store and tell them what had happened, and this girl with an attitude basically tells me that it's not her problem because it was a totally different staff than the previous night. I don't care. I want my god forsaken pizza. Almost 24 hours has passed and I still haven't gotten it. You would think from all the trouble they've caused me, they would just send out a pizza no questions asked, right? No, they make me order another pizza and pay for it. Yes, they said they would refund me for the pizza, but it doesn't make up for all this headache, and the refund was going to take 2-5 business days to process. This is ridiculous. But I'm pissed off and hungry, so I cave in and decide to pay for another pizza. I had to give this moron my card number about 5 times before she finally typed it in correctly, and then she told me that their whole computer system crashed and that I should call back in another 20 minutes. I can't even think of the words to say that would effectively convey what I was feeling in that moment. Honest to god, I started pinching myself, thinking that this was a really stupid dream. I did that for about 5 minutes and then placed the order online, and finally, damn near an entire freaking day later, I got my pizza the way that I ordered it. I eat my pizza, and when I finish, I decide to read the google reviews, and they all have one thing in common. Connor. And wouldn't you know it, the moody teenage girl that answered the phone the first time I called, and the guy that cooked the food all 3 times, was Connor. You can read all those reviews if you're curious, but one in particular almost made me throw up. Already long story short: I ate PedoPizza. The fact that this indescribable waste of flesh still has a job in this town blows my mind.
Connor, if you're reading this, I'd like to tell you that you'd be better off digging ditches, because you've done a mighty fine job of digging yourself quite a big hole here. And if you have a problem with anything that I said here, there's exactly two things that you can do about it: Nothing,...
Read moreI placed a small order (two medium pizzas, an order of garlic knots, and a dessert) for a small group at 3:30 p.m., with delivery set to 4:30 p.m. At 4:45 p.m., I contacted the Hays Domino's, where the worker who answered the phone said that delivery was running late, due to only having one driver, and that the driver just left with another order, so we would need to wait until he returned to pick up our order. After asking if a discount would be offered, seeing as time delivery time was set to 4:30 p.m., the attendant said she could offer a credit towards the next order, and I refused that (seeing as I likely won't be ordering from Domino's again since this is the second time I ordered and had a long delay for delivery). I again asked for a discount, and the attendant went quiet - dead air. I had to say, "Ma'am?" three times before she answered. However, she did hand the phone to the "manager" (Ryan) to take the call. I explained the situation (ordered online for a set time), order was now 20 minutes late, and asked for a discount. Like the first attendant, he offered future credit, which I again refused. After repeatedly having to ask him for a discount (as he said I was interrupting, but honestly, he just never would confirm he would offer a discount), he finally agreed - complicated as that was. After he cancelled the charge and recharged with the discount, the next thing he literally asked me was, "Do I have your permission to get off the phone to deliver your order?" which I found to be highly out of line for a manager. (Having worked in customer service before, I would have said something like, "Ma'am, I have canceled the original charge and processed the charge for $XX. Is there anything else I can do before we deliver your order?") After getting off the phone, Ryan did deliver the order accurately at 5:07 p.m. When I asked if there was a receipt with the discounted charge to my card, as there was only the original receipt with the delivery, he said he could take a photo of the new one and email it to me (still have not received that receipt). Overall: Food was great. Service...
Read morePizza was as expected, nothing special. Some slices were bigger than others so obviously not center cut. Cookie brownie was good. Our issue was that we were initially directed to a call center, which I am not appreciative of. This will affect your quality of service and you likely have to issue coupons and a ton of remakes because your call center guys have never worked a day in the shop and are extremely high-bent on upsales that do not make sense, and they do not know how to ask the question properly, granted the nature of the coupon. If you can transition back to the model of the people closest to the pizza taking the calls and paying your employees enough, then you won't have to deal with all the corporate phenomena that sinks your business from the bottom up. Pro tip: take the call center away. Right before my order was actually placed, the line cut out, after a total of 11 minutes dealing with this service rep putting me on hold to "process my order" and sending me to this convenient little system that prevented me from having to say my card number and security code. Went online to order and it took about one minute. not gonna be ordering Domino's in...
