Nation's Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies — Restaurant in Hayward

The food here is great, but the place is slowly falling apart. They don't have anyone to clean the tables and when you sit in some of the booths, you feel like your going to sink right through, plus in one of the ones I sat on, everytime the person behind me moved so did I. The tea options are okay, but not great. Some of the tables were missing napkins and someone even had an empty pepper shaker. I can understand the salt, but not everyone uses pepper. Leaving me to ask myself, how many days has that thing been empty?

When I came here, it was busy, it being a Sunday morning and all, but when you order the same food as the peole after you, how the heck do they get their food before you? I had at least five people after me get their food before I did. While I love Nations, I think I'll have to find a different...

Yesterday was my first time at Nation's. I walked in and no line which I was happy I ordered regular hamburger onion rings and a slice of pie. Two women were working there and they seemed to have place very clean and organized. Felt very relaxed and comfy. The place seems out of date but that wasn't a problem because it made me forget the hustle and bustle of outside. When I got my order it was tasty. It was a huge mouthful and delicious. The onion rings were perfect crunchy on the outside and nice and moist in the inside. The pie tasted like heaven and I was amazed they had a lot of favors. There was was a shortage of ketchup but as soon as I told the girl she filled it up in a timely manner. I loved eating here and if you want to spend some quality time here it's definitely a must...

DONT SAY YOU CLOSE AT 2am if you close at 1:45 am!! Got off work drove all the way over here to eat!!! Nothing worse than showing up to eat when you’re starving and have them lock the doors right in front of you 15 minutes before they close!! All I wanted to order was a BLT TO GO and French toast slices! NOPE! they locked all the doors 15 minutes before they close at 1:45 right as I was walking up and the woman just stared right at me (a female Hispanic woman not sure of age, older)!! Thanks a lot!! I drove so far for NOTHING.
