Subway — Restaurant in Hazle Township

It's hard to give this Subway a rating because they're never open! It's Sunday at 5:30 pm and they're closed. I've witnessed people locking the door at 7 pm, another time at 7:30 pm, and plenty others. Those are just 2 examples I recall and have a picture of while I was witnessing it. I go to get Subway at 5:30 pm on a Sunday (July 25th) and they're closed. Completely dark in there with nobody in sight. They're supposed to be open until 8 pm. The website says they're opened, Google My Business says they're open... So why are they closed? This happens ALL the time with this location. They make their own hours and it is so frustrating. I love Subway, but every time I go to this location it's a gamble if they're going to be open or not regardless of the time of day. I went before 6 pm today (Sunday the 25th) because I KNEW they would be closed early (they always are). I guess 5:30 pm was still too late. I like subway. It is normally a quick and somewhat healthy choice when I'm working at the airport. On my most recent visit I experienced some very slow and poor service. They had four people literally standing around behind counter yet it took them forever to ask what I wanted. They were super skimpy with the toppings to my sandwich and yet it still looked terrible. One of them who seemed to be in charge was trash talking some customers who had just left. After making my sandwich they asked if I wanted anything else. I was going to get a combo. I told them I wanted 2 cookies. Before I could finish the manager said I should get another cookie since they were 3 for a dollar. I decided to get that. After I had paid I noticed they rang up at $1.69. When I pointed that out to them they were like there is tax. No, tax is not 69%. Not even an offer to fix this. Think I'll be finding a new place to eat when I'm working at the airport...

The food was good; the service was fantastic. I stopped in a little after 5 PM on April 12. The staff was super friendly and attentive. My family hadn't been to a Subway in a few years and took a little while to decide what we wanted, but we never felt rushed and both employees were still smiling when we were finally ready. At the end of the meal, one of my family members decided to take home the other half of their sub. I walked up to the counter to get it wrapped and was noticed before I even got to the counter. The location was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food tasted great. The only bad things I can say are that the parking lot is a little tight, and they didn't have light mayo.
