I ordered from here as I do on a weekly basis. I always order about 2 dinners or a pizza and a dinner. So I tonight, I asked how much are cannolis and the owner said $1.50. I said okay I'll take six please. So he added it to my order. Fast forward, I get the food, have a slice of pizza and look at my receipt and realized i was overcharged by $26.00. I called back and told the nice girl who answered my situation and she double checked the price and said they were $4.95 each. I told her the owner said $1.50 and then I asked to speak with him. Immediately when he picks up the phone he had an attitude and said that he would never say that the canollis are $1.50 and I told him, sir, I order from you guys every week, I love your food and I'm not trying to cause trouble. He didn't even hear me because he screamed at me over the phone to give the cannolis back to the delivery guy and he will take it off the bill and then said to never call his business again !!! I was so disgusted by the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism, especially when I kept an even tone. Read moreWalking in from out of state, I could tell right away this was gonna be good pizza. People shouting to family in Italian (sorry if it was actually Sicilian and I was mistaken) and the smell of garlic filled the air. One of those fine dining vibes with a paper cloth over real tablecloth whether you're in for an entree or just a classic slice of 'za.
I tried the white pizza with ricotta...first time having ricotta on my pizza but I love it in other dishes. It was delightful. The garlic knots were actual bread rolls smothered in an appropriate amount of tasty garlic sauce, not like the sad drizzle you get from a chain pizza joint. Tasted the red sauce, very nice with that NJ sweetness my husband swears all pizzas from NJ have.
Would come back again, if we find ourselves out this way...

They have Gluten Free pizza and can make any chicken or veal dish gluten free too. It's family run (the children are serving and bussing) and the owner/chef is extremely accomodating and hospitable. I felt like I was going over a relatives house to eat. The food by the way, was "lick your plate clean" amazing. The salad is made from romaine, not cheap iceberg and it was a large size. Everything came out fast and was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I can't wait...
