Pull up to Drive through at 7:49pm
Me: Hello Christian, its almost 8 can I get shakes half off for my kids?
Christian: Shakes are half off at 8
Me: Ok, no luck on half price at 8?
Christian: No you can park and wait or go drive around.
Me: Ok. Got to draw the line at 8pm. No worries, we'll go park and wait until 8pm.
While waiting for 8pm parked by sonic and looked at menu and signs for half off shakes. The half off shake signs show pictures of the Blast Shakes and under it says half off at 8pm. Kids get excited, they pick favorite blast shakes. At 8pm we pull back into drive through.
Me: Hey Christian its the family that waited until 8pm. Just want to make sure its 8pm where you see it.
Christian: Yes. What do you want to order?
Me: (Order 3 Blast Shakes for kids)
Christian: That will be $17.XX at the window. Click...
Me: ???
Me: I thought it was half off? $17.00 for 3 mini shakes at 1.20 a piece? ... Christian? ... Hello... Hello?
Not answering so I just pull up even though my wife insists we just leave. Pull up to window...
Cashier: That will be $17.XX.
Me: We waited until 8pm. We looked at your sign marketing the half off to pick which ones our kids could have. The total should be like $5 max right.
Cashier: I know... Its like totally super confusing and frustrating... But even though the sign shows them pictued in half off marketing board its only for regular shakes.
Me: So nothing can be done.
Cashier: No
Me: Alright, we're not interested
The worst part of the whole thing is that Christian knew we got out of the drive through and waited 15 minutes. He remembered who we were when we came back into the drive through. He took our order and didn't say anything. And then knew what he had done and no body would help us. Bummed kids will go elsewhere for treats.

Read moreJan 2025 - We feel like this place has gone downhill. It takes so long for you to get your order regardless if you go drive-thru or park at a stall. Admittedly I rather go drive-thru because at least they are quicker. I placed an online order, drove to this location, parked at a stall, and entered the stall number in the app as requested. Normally it will list my name and show a progress bar of sorts. 5mins later nothing was showing. I could see in the app it showed the order being prepared. We ordered three small blizzards. 10 mins passed, and no one was in the drive-thru as we parked near the drive-thru window. At 15 minutes I pressed the button and asked if they had received my order because it was 15 minutes. The girl said yes, they were going to work on it and get it out to us soon. No apology no explanation. 20 minutes and we were still waiting. At 24 minutes a young girl came out with the drinks. Two looked melted and one was not even what we ordered. She apologized and came back within 3 minutes with the correct order and they were not melted.
The last time we went was Nov 2024, we had one person order one Reeses Blizzard and one ordered the Oreo Blizzard, but the Oreo Blizzard tasted like Reeses and it wasn't what was ordered. It's a bummer to not be able to get what...
Read moreJust got out of the drive thru. That was thee worst experience. First off tried to order and the girl cut off my husband before he finished ordering. Then when she gave us the total we knew it was wrong but she shut off her mix before we could talk nd tried to even reverse and pull up to trigger the drive thru nothing. She didn't verify the order she just said total and we knew it wasnt correct because of what we had said.Get to the window the guy was super rude my husband went to add the other item that was supposed to be on initial order and the kid shut the window in his face before my husband could finish adding, I wish i was exaggerating. So then when he comes back with new total and order its still wrong. So I'm frustrated my husbands frustrated the kid at the window who should have listened the first time is frustrated its just all around bad. Whoever is working window and drivethrough tonight need some work with customer service. This was horrible. This isn't first time I've had problems at this sonic. (However shout out to Addison who did my order last night 8/6 he was fantastic no problems there epidome of good customer service! ) I understand when things are busy things happen but this was ridiculous pull yourself...
