I’ve had most the menu here (its small) and it’s all high quality. I love the fried dumplings, crispy on the outside and bursting with a savory, divine flavor on the inside. The staff are great and the atmosphere is perfect. Anthony Bourdains adage holds true here, find a few things you are good at, do them religiously and people will find you. They also have an old school punch card loyalty program if your into that stuff. Edit: The dumplings... oh my... hands down the best thing I’ve eaten... Like I’m there 3 nights a week good... Edit 2: removing a star because as happens when you frequent a place I’ve no had a few not so positive experiences. People are great as ever but I’ve been served some cold and soggy dumplings. In my mind 5 stars means this never happens. It has and thus now it’s going down to 4. Of course I’ve asked them to heat them and they do, with a smile but...

It was okay. The ordering was very confusing. You pick the base, protein and toppings which is similar to other places that I've ordered from. However, it seemed like every option was an upgrade as I didn't see anything that didn't have a $ amount under it despite the couple toppings allegedly being included so I wasn't really sure if it was really an upcharge or was just showing you in relation to the other items ordered and the lower $ would be included in the bowl. Therefore, my $12.45 half and half bowl came to $21.64 in the end. I liked that it was freshly made and would potentially try ordering here again but will need to be when I feel like I can go in there and ask a bunch of questions or get help on the ordering strategy.

I am a big fan of hot stone bowl bibimbap, so I was excited to see that BiBim Kitchen was getting such great reviews. Flew in at 5:00 into McClarren and headed down here for dinner. The restaurant is still taking several COVID precautions that I think impact the feel to the restaurant. The food was great and had great flavors to enjoy. I got the original spicy sauce and it was the traditional Gochujang chili sauce. The bulgogi beef was tender and well seasoned. The vegetables were good but there were a couple of items that I am used to having in my Bibimbap that were not available such as the fish cake and the bean curd noodles. You can get your Sunnyside up egg which is a real must with this dish.

Food here is really really tasty but the price is on the high end. There are , however, few complaints I have for this place.

First off i hate how they limit you to only double the amount on a type of vegetables. You get 6 choices, so if I want to get all carrots or all zucchini, I should be able too. But no, only double the amount for a single vege. I only liked broccoli and corn everything else was not really for me but I was force to get mushrooms because I couldnt triple my broccolis. If you are picky with u veges this limit makes it not worth.

The meat option is very nice since they can do 50/50 for protein selection. The protein quality is also very good so thumbs up for that.

But can you guys PLEASE stock up on tofu. Like deada*s the tofu is always running low. If you know the tofu is on high demand then stock more. I don't understand this hunger marketing for tofu like aren't they cheaper than meat???

Anyway here comes the my worst complaint about this place. The service. Let me first say tho the taller Korean girl is always super nice and treat people with a smile. I would love get served by her again she's is just so kind and nice.

Now the other girl, she is the one with a bit darker skin and a bit shorter (I'm describing her this way because I dont know her name, no stereotypes intended), is not very nice. I brought my mom here last week because she is vegetarian and she loves healthy Asian food. She came in, started to order, and was served by the girl mention above. My om English is not very good and she has a accent. My mom and her went back fourth to clarify the orders and she started to get irrated. No problem, understandable. I fully understand that if you need to clarify for order. However, when My mom couldn't pronounce sesame properly this girl started to repeat the word sesame and laughed. My mom was really embarrassed and I felt really angry. Thank God the other Korean girl quickly took over and treated us with a smile, which is actually the main reason I didnt explode back there in the restaurant. I hope that management can hire people like her instead of the other girl because every customer would appreciate that.

2 star for food and + 1 star for the nice girl. As for the minus 2 star are all the reason...

Love coming here for lunch! They have PLENTY of options to mix and match. Every variation I have tried has been so delicious. They are extremely consistent in the quality of the food and ingredients which is awesome. Never had a bad bowl here and I have been here a handful of times.

My FAVORITE is the dolsot - only available dining in though so good if you have some extra time to enjoy your food vs at a desk. That crispy rice changes the game!

They recently added even MORE options - such as ahi tuna for a poke bowl variation, they also now sell sides like wings, bulgogi fries, japchae etc.

The add-ons for a regular bowl do end up raising the final price at the end. So the classic bowl is about $10 I think, if you want to add a protein it adds anywhere from about $2.45 - $4ish to the total, and that's just the protein. Fried egg is another $1. Only thing to be weary about but if that's no concern, go crazy because the more toppings/add-ons the better it is.

Sauces are delicious too. They give you two for each bowl.

Very clean environment, they package to go orders...
