If I could give ZERO stars, believe me, I would. What a nightmare this place is.
For our Super Bowl party, I ordered a delivery from Buffalo Wild Wings, making sure to request sauces on the side and even paid extra for additional sauces. When the delivery arrived, we were missing 11 out of the 16 sauces we ordered! We received 5 mysterious brown sauces (I could only guess they were some form of BBQ). Side note: The side sauces are TINY.
When I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, the so-called MANAGER (!?!) gave me nothing but attitude. She flat-out refused to give me the missing sauces unless I placed another order or physically went to pick them up. Despite me never asking for a refund, she repeatedly stated, "WE AREN'T DOING REFUNDS," which was not the point--I simply wanted the correct items I paid for. To add insult to injury, when I asked for her name, she abruptly hung up on me. After calling back, I found out the two female managers working were Samantha & Jasmine (or so I was told).
The manager had the audacity to blame ME for the missing sauce. Her excuse? Apparently, I didn't check the bag upon pick-up. As a reminder: it was a DELIVERY order placed directly through their website. If you were not aware (I wasn't), Buffalo Wild Wings subcontracts delivery through DoorDash. I had no chance to inspect the order before the driver picked up. Nor did I have a way to contact the driver to double-check things since it was not done through door dash directly. Ordering through THEIR site should infer the ownership lies on them - not me or the driver. The fact that they subcontract delivery through a third party is beyond my control.
In a last-ditch effort to salvage the situation, I spoke with a man named Max, who assured me that if I placed a second order, he would personally ensure it was correct and he would include the missing sauces from the first order. I'm sure you're shocked to know that not only did we not receive the sauces from the first order, we also received ZERO sauce at all for the second order (which was also delivered with the wrong wings). So now, we're stuck with 80 wings, 5 mystery cups of brown substance and no solution at all to the sauce debacle. I am 100% convinced this was done intentionally to add salt to the wound.
I get it; they're probably super busy for the Super Bowl, and mistakes happen. I run a business here in town and I understand that people are human. HOWEVER, there's absolutely no excuse for blatant rudeness and hanging up on customers, especially when the problem stems from your staff's lack of attention to detail. If you're going to hold a position of authority within a company, you should be mature enough to handle tough situations without resorting to toddler-like behavior.
So, if you're considering ordering from Buffalo Wild Wings, think again. Spare yourself the headache and take your...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I come here a lot. We are not drinkers so we always sit in the dining area and not the bar. However, tonight 06/01/2024 at around 8:20 PM we were asked to sit at the bar by the host. We sat down and someone came to us immediately.
My boyfriend thought she (Ally) asked if we wanted drink menus and he said “No, no thank you,” since we don’t drink. Her demeanor changed completely and she told us that we needed to order something and not just get water if we wanted to be there. My boyfriend said “Yeah, that’s why we’re here…to eat…that’s why we come here.” And she replied “yeah, but you said you didn’t want menus and just asked for water.” He responded “well, we don’t want drink menus” because you know, it’s the bar area. Ally said “I asked if you wanted food menus and you said no.” So, my boyfriend explained to her that he thought she asked us if we wanted drink menus.
It was a genuine misunderstanding in a loud place. You know, BWW is not quiet. My boyfriend got flustered from that interaction and proceeded to scan the QR code at the table after she brought us menus and water. Made sense to me since the last time we were there we were asked to order through the QR code AND pay that way.
Needless to say, he thought he placed his order for a chicken sandwich. I scanned the QR code to start adding my order to the table and at that point an Amber came up to us and showed us her screen and my boyfriend said “I placed an order for a chicken sandwich.” She said “no, this is my table. Nothing was ordered” as I’m literally on my phone trying to add my order. At that point me, the calm and collected one actually got pissed off. I’ve never in my life talked to a server that way. But it was infuriating because I was literally on my phone, on the Buffalo Wild Wings app!!!!
Normally, our servers are super cool in the dining area. I don’t know what Ally and Amber were on, but they were unprofessional, problematic, and downright derogatory to me and boyfriend. It was almost like they actually wanted a problem.
Not only do we try to get our family to come with us, but we genuinely love the wings (even when they’ve come out cold we don’t complain)! But this was absurd. I hope no one else is treated that way.
We were judged from the beginning. Stephanie, the manager even gave us a fake number to the corporate office after not listening to what my boyfriend was trying to say to her. Terrible experience and we will tell all our friends. I hope that your employees can begin to be trained on how to treat...
Read moreI have been debating on whether I should leave my comments or not about this, only because I cant express how much I absolutely love Buffalo Wild Wings. For the longest time I am embarrassed to say I would go else where for my wings. In my defense I did not know any better. For all occasions I feel I have to have these wings, on good days,on bad days,on sad days, for birthdays, for just because days, I got to have my Buffalo Wild Wings. On this occasion of this last Super Bowl I ordered my wings several days early for pickup. I was told to order earlier than the time I wanted, just because there would be so many orders. So that's what we did. Plus we arrived 40 minutes earlier than when the order was to be done. When we arrived to the restaurant there was already a line out the door. Many people did not know what the line was for, people were just cutting the line trying to figure out where they were suppose to be at to pick up food. At one point a physical fight nearly happened between a driver and a customer, which was witnessed by several customers. Customers were crowding around the two registers up front. No food was going out for long periods of time then every once in a while an employee would call a customers name but when they called the name the employee would stand behind the wall. As a result many customers could not hear the name. The crowd of customers was growing more and more to the point that people were having trouble entering the restaurant and leaving the restaurant. God forbid if there had been an emergency we the customers would had all been trapped. Also when ever an employee was approached for help to check on an order they refused. It was sadly an absolutely chaotic situation. I'm also disappointed to say our food was not even done on time even though we followed all the instructions to make sure it was done on time. Sadly I dont think I can count on Buffalo Wild Wings for a busy occasion. I seriously thought since they already knew they had a lot of orders a better way of managing would be set in place. I must givea shout out to an angel Steven who although our order was very late as soon as he clocked in he jumped in to help he even apologized for all we went through. Buffalo Wild Wings you are my favorite but this time you really disappointed me I'm very sad to say. I'm giving you 2 stars because of Steven, if it had not been for Steven it would...
