The worst tasting pizza Iāve ever had in my entire life and possibly any other life I have lived or ever will live.
As soon as I received this box, without looking inside, I could tell something was off. The smell was, different. Not as if it went bad, just, different. It did not smell like pizza, but I thought to myself, āitās pizzaā right?
Wrong.
I ordered a Sicilian pie. A good 1/3 of my pie was missing cheese. Only 2 slices were properly covered with a decent amount of cheese. I believe there is a 99.9% chance that they did not use marinara sauce. There was not a single hint of seasoning in this sauce. No onion pieces, no basil, no oregano, not even salt. I swear to god, I strongly believe the sauce was tomato paste mixed with chunks of tomatoes. There was a 2 inch long sliver of chopped tomato under some cheese along with random sized chunks of tomato throughout this monstrosity of a pizza. I am not sure what type of cheese they used, but it was just greasy and somehow flavorless.
The crust was an abomination on bread everywhere. Aside from the weird aftertaste it left in my mouth, there were portions of it not properly connecting with the rest of the pizza. As if they rolled out dough for crust after they formed the pizza, and then tried to attach it and it never fully baked into each other.
I have a husband that was formerly homeless and will literally eat any piece of food at least once. The only thing he has ever been known to not take a second bite of is sea Urchin and now this pizza.
I am from NYC. Iām fully aware Las Vegas is not NYC and I donāt expect to find that styled pizza here in the slightest. Though the closest you can get imo is Cuginoās, Secret Pizza at the Cosmo, Evil Pie, etc. incredible pizza exists here in Las Vegas 100%. Just not here.
I donāt know who tf came up with this recipe.
I donāt know who tf ate this and actually thought that it would be worth making and selling to other humans to consume out of pleasure.
I donāt know who tf gave that person money and a business license.
But this was a butterfly effect of terrible circumstances that ultimately ended up...

Family owned and operated since 1976, Carmine's Pizza Kitchen is the perfect selection for some old school NY pizza and Italian food. Frank the owner greeted us with a friendly handshake and a big welcome. As we ate our food ,the owner came to our table explained the history of Carmine's. It is such an inspirational story of extraordinary Italian family that created delicious recipes that have been lovingly passed down through generations. This was our first visit to Carmine's and right away we felt like we were in a friendly Italian home. Our server Denise was so friendly and helpful. She is definitely a huge asset to the restaurant. Everyone is very welcoming and treat you like a family . They have indoor and outdoor seating and full bar area. A great place to dine in or get takeout and when the weather is nice, sit outside. They sometimes have live music on their beautiful patio.
The food was outstanding, and the portions are pretty large. Starter bread was perfectly warm and freshly baked. The Chopped Salad was so good, nicely dressed and delicious! Not over powering. The pizza is a New York style with a wonderful crispness of the crust . All the ingredients were perfectly balanced. The pizza sauce didn't taste too salty ,it was just right. The Italian sub was great. Large slice of mozzarella. Roll was good. The Rigatoni Carmine was delicious. Creamy. The meatballs and spaghetti/meatballs was good. Soft meatballs, great sauce. The zeppoles were fried to perfection with just the right amount of powdered sugar, topped with strawberry and chocolate sauce and served with 3 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. Yummy š
Overall: I have to say Carmine's Pizza Kitchen made it to my list of delicious pizzas here in Las Vegas! Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMamma Mia! Get your butt over to Carmine's Pizza Kitchen on Raiders Way for some great Italian grub! From the minute we walked in, Frank the owner greeted us with a friendly handshake and a big welcome. This was our first visit to Carmine's and right away I felt like I was in a friendly Italian home. Roni, our wonderful server took our drink order and then delivered some of the house garlic knots, on the house for being first time customers. For appetizers we ordered a dinner salad with the house Italian dressing and mozzarella sticks. The salad portion was large and the house made dressing was creamy and delicious! Not over powering. The mozzarella sticks were more like steaks! Breaded then fried to a golden brown and served with the house marinara sauce. Each of us ordered custom personal pizzas for dinner. One meat lovers and the other a combo of veggies. As we ate our apps, the owner came to our table explained the history of Carmine's. A few minutes later out came our pizza pies. Blazing hot, smothered with toppings and cheese! The crust was New York style with a wonderful crispness which held the delicious toppings up. For the finale, Roni brought us the house specialty dessert. Fried warm zeppoles doused in powdered sugar, topped with strawberry and chocolate sauce and served with 3 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. My eyeballs almost fell out of my head as the plate of heavenly fried dough arrived. The zeppoles were fried to perfection with just the right about of powdered sugar. What can I say, the perfect dessert to end the evening. Family owned and operated, Carmine's Pizza Kitchen is the perfect selection for some old school NY pizza and Italian food. Since 1976, this establishment really makes you feel like you have your own loving...
