Burlington — Local services in Henderson

I usually love Burlington been shopping there for years. I spend thousands a year, almost all my family’s clothes come from there. This Burlington and the one on Stephanie has traumatized me and my man and we will never shop at another Burlington again. We were on a shopping trip for our vacation and got two separate carts (he goes to mens and me women’s) and they followed my man around like he was a criminal. I watched them watch him. He came up to me taking about the stuff he found and we talked about our trip. The two people following him were close enough to hear it also. This is after the store on Stephanie embarrassed and harassed us by sending cops into the store before we had a chance to check out, the day before. Which has left me feeling scared and paranoid about security every store I go into now. We have never stolen anything ever, we have no reason to. We work hard for our money. We did absolutely nothing for them to be suspicious either. I was so scared and angry when I watched a Burlington employee watching my boyfriend shop. I called my BF over to me and we walked out leaving two carts full of stuff. I wasn’t taking the chance of something bad happening...

The location is awesome and I found some great deals. It's mid July now and the store is very picked over. Many areas were empty. I love off price shopping and Ross is going to open soon next door. You need to spend some payroll to get it filled and reorganized to cater to the clientele of the area. Presentation matters both in the customer you want to attract and the people you want working for you. Granted it has slowed down, but if there's only one team member at the front the go- backs pile up and look messy. If a line forms there's no back- up nearby. You have a now hiring sign out there but who wants to work in that environment. People are new and not as efficient yet. It takes more support to get it rolling. I managed off price for years, but it's harder now to hire. Quality of the environment and support from the leadership influences the formula for success. I'll hunt and find some good deals, but the high end customer that will put you over the top...

I was in town for work and didn’t pack a jacket this week and Vegas was colder than normal. I stopped into this Burlington and was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked it was. Where I’m from Burlington is hit or miss but the stock of items here was fantastic. I found a large handful of items to purchase and headed to the register. Jodie at checkout was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, she told me that because the store is smaller they don’t have a back room so everything gets put out on the floor to sell right away.
