Mood - Ube
Now May a fellow yelper took a picture of Mochinut in her neck of the woods with the MT in this container that looks like a can. I was highly intrigued by the picture and knew whenever I got the chance I wanted to try it. I got lucky and got the chance. The other location didnt offer this the last time I went. So I was surprised that this location did.
Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if I had any questions. Of course I did. My main question "Is anything still available" the lady behind the counter said everything in the display case was still available. Being completely shocked I was like "does your MT come in that container?" She smiled and said yes. Ooh you would have thought I won at a casino by my reaction.
So I opted for that Ube MT of course, a half dozen that included - Ube, Strawberry,Browned Butter and of course Lilikoi. Oh my this was good. Now I may not have made it home with any desserts for the family. I may not have hid the box before I got home so know one knew of my where abouts. JS
Interior is not meant for dine in. However it is very bright and cheery inside. There was music playing in the background. Staff were very friendly
Would most def recommend - pricing was reasonable for the quality and presentation. The customer service was very hospitable and courteous. I love when...
Read moreService was awesome...what can I say. I appreciate knowledgeable people who exceed my expectations in customer service. The young man at the counter gave me every dipping sauce for my mozzarella on a stick concoction and let me sample a mini piece of mochinut with Ube before I made a purchase đ. I will say that these are an immediate eat only, they don't preserve for later consumption at all. If you wait to eat them, say the next day, they get chewy and gummy like. I think they look like baby teething rings, but they're ok. I appreciate the originality of trying different things, but it just wasn't my cup of tea for a repeat purchase. These are cooked with Mochi flour...hence the name. I suggest that if you're craving a donut go to a donut shop. Oh and the Boba is decent, but I will stick with Lucky China...
Read moreIt is hard to find a good fresh mochi donut in Las Vegas. This place, like many, served donuts that had been sitting for a while and mochi donuts are really only good when they are fresh so the texture was ok but not thoroughly impressed. Daddy donut is a tiny little location with only one very small table and two chairs. There was a small rolling bakers rack of mochi donuts right behind the counter that they were serving off of. Kind of low budget, but we like little hole in wall joints so we still had high hopes. We tried a churro mochi donut that was basic, a Dubai mochi donut that was very unique, a maple donut that was so nasty we threw it away and a strawberry shortcake mochi donut that was actually pretty amazing. I'd go back just for that strawberry shortcake mochi donut! It was something to...
