Being a Colombian woman I was super excited to try this place. They called themselves "Home of the Empanada" which I love and was truly excited about. This is a Colombian breakfast place so close in proximity to our second home, I was thinking this could be our new spot. We arrived and I ordered my tea & Café con leche por mi esposo (my husband). I was craving arepas con queso (or de queso depending), and seen it for some reason was only on the kids menu. I asked the waitress if I could have one and I would be willing to pay extra, and then also ordered a empanada as mi esposo and his mother ordered another breakfast plate. The waitress told me that should be no problem but she needed to check with the cook first. When she came back she told me since I was over the age of 12 they could not make me an arepa con queso. Wow. I wanted a plain arepa with cheese only and was told no. She asked if I wanted 2 empanadas instead and I said no just 1 with rice and beans. We got our food and I got my one empanada and no rice and beans. I asked the girl bringing our food if she could make sure she grabbed my rice and beans, and she looked confused. The waitress then came back and asked me if I wanted rice and beans because she didn't remember me ordering it. I explained to her yes and I ordered it after she told me no to the arepa. They rushed back and got me a plate. The rice and beans were quite bland and tasted like there was no salt used. The empanada was good, and mi esposo and his mother enjoyed their food, however being Colombian I am disappointed in the service provided. I won't be back since most of the food is a fusion style and I am mocked for asking for something traditional and told I am too old to eat it. No bueno. If you're looking for a warm familia restaurant and authentic Colombian food I would look elsewhere. Shame could have been...

Overall Experience What a wonderful experience! From the moment you walk through the door to being seated, the atmosphere immediately welcomes you. This Henderson location offers both excellent indoor dining and outdoor charm that makes it worth the visit.
Atmosphere & Seating The restaurant features a spacious indoor seating area that accommodates groups comfortably. However, the real highlight is their beautiful outdoor patio. The patio is dog-friendly, which adds to the relaxed, community feel - though if you’re not a fan of furry companions, you might prefer indoor seating.
Food & Beverages The coffee was exceptional - clearly a priority for this establishment. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered the crispy chicken wrap with arugula, avocado, and tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted notably fresh.
My husband tried the empanadas, which were decent but didn’t quite reach the same level of excellence as other menu items.
Service & Wait Times Here’s where you need to set expectations: we waited approximately 35 minutes for our food, which is longer than typical. However, the quality absolutely justified the wait time. This isn’t a place to visit if you’re in a rush, but if you have time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, the wait becomes part of the pleasant experience.
Practical Details Parking is easily accessible, which is always appreciated.
Bottom Line Makers and Finders delivers a genuinely enjoyable dining experience with quality food and a beautiful setting. The longer wait times are worth it for the fresh, delicious results. Perfect for a leisurely meal with friends, family, or your four-legged companions...
Read moreCame here for breakfast on a Sunday around 10am. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. However, after waiting for 10 minutes, still no water, no server. (As we were seated, there was a table of 5 in the corner that had not ordered yet and they were there before we were.) After looking around for our server, she came around the corner and said she will be right us. As she approached, she said water is on the way and asked for our orders.
Another 10 minutes past after our orders, no water still. A few minutes past, and our coffee arrived. At which point, I asked for water again.
Another 5 minutes, our food arrived. My partner had the breakfast bagel with extra sausage patties with no egg. When it arrived, it came with two sausage patties and nothing else. They decided that if you pay extra for sausage patties, you don't get bacon.
At this point, I was fed up rug the subpar service. There was a gentleman who seem to be a manager and I flagged him down. His attitude was I'll be right there like he couldn't be bothered. When he did arrive, I explained the situation and he basically asked us what we wanted to do. Nothing. Nothing to do at this point. He left and returned about 10 minutes later. He removed the sausage patties and said he was "helping us". Excuse me? Help implies we did something that needs to be helped. The right word choice should have been to "fix."
Long story short, the food is good here. So if oh don't mind paying $25-30 pp for terrible service, then have breakfast here. Oh they will serve regulars better by the way. So...
