Charming coffee shop!

Offers an espresso flight (I spotted some Vesta coffee beans), good food & good coffee, plus 6 indoor tables to work at with outlets along the wall, and smart hooks under the tables. Couch area is in front of a ā€œfree little libraryā€ where a copy of ā€œShip Breakerā€ sits waiting for you :) if you like some young adult post-apocalyptic stories. The 20 plants inside are not plastic! Spotted 2 Hoyas, a begonia, a variegated regal shield etc. so you know they take care of their space. There really is a difference in the air. I think even the outside plant box with lavender might be real too.

This makes my little millennial heart sing. Temperatures inside are not too cold, the crowd is respectful even when it had peak times of getting busy (a person took their calls outside), noise levels were not jarring, and service was sweet & efficient. I didn’t measure the speed of wi-fi but it is available for patrons. Also, I am only posting one picture because I can’t get an angle where I’m not infringing on other people’s privacy.

I hope there were more areas with this vibe on the west side of town (idk why but sometimes I’m crazy exhausted getting out of a cafe/coffee shop). We’re just looking for an affordable respite among the hustle & caffeine-driven energy—a genuine ā€˜third space’. This place is it! No social media doom scrolling, just some journaling, nice conversations, good food, and maybe finally some focused work. The trek here is well worth it.

C’mon! They make their own shokupan & bagels šŸ˜

I ended up here through Too Good to Go, which I love that this place participates in! It allowed me to get some pastries, but while there, I desperately needed coffee. When I walked in, I was blown away by how busy it was for being 1:30 pm and they closed at 2 pm. It's a bit small, but there's a good amount of tables and seating for people to hang out and work. The staff was very nice and super helpful when I had questions!

I ended up ordering an iced orange latte, a tiramisu cookie, apple turnover, and honey toast (food was part of my Too Good to Go order). The latte was very good, but what hooked me was the honey toast! I've never had honey toast before, but it looked really good, and it absolutely did not disappoint! I had the turnover the next day, and it was just as tasty! The tiramisu cookie was also pretty good, but the honey toast had everything beat. I asked what they would recommend between the orange latte and the boubon butterscotch flavor and settled with orange, but I will definitely try the other flavor another time.

Really cute place, super friendly staff, and they do their part to help the environment. This is a great little coffee shop to support, and it seems to be hopping with remote workers! Stop by and give it a try. You definitely will not be...

Experience/Environment: Cute, minimalistic, delicious, but space is small lol. Bookshelf was a nice touch. I always appreciate a bookshelf full of books and of course a nice couch to sit on. The hopes is that it’s available.

The restrooms we’re all gender and individual rooms. They had two. Inside there were complementary feminine products. Even if you don’t need it, as a woman, it’s nice to see it was thought of.

Price: Toast being $15 a slice will always be beyond me, but that’s just society now. Lol. The hope is that if you spend that much on a piece of toast, it’s at least delicious.

Food: It was delicious! Lol. I had a green toast. Their signature avocado toast really. The pesto made it what it was though. It was delicious. My friend had the smoked salmon toast, and she was pretty satisfied as well.

Service: You order at the front. There was a long line, but it didn’t take for ever so that’s always good. They bring your food to your table, and call out your name when your drinks are ready.

NTT [[Next Time Try]]: They had pastries. But none of them were gluten-free so I couldn’t try it. But if you’re in the market, do it!! — they looked awesome.

Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you...
