If there's one place that has me jumping beans with joy, it's Tacotarian! This funky joint takes Mexican cuisine to a whole new level by dishing out mouthwatering vegetarian delights that are so delicious, even carnivores might consider going green. And the best part? No animals were harmed in the making of these tasty treats. Prepare yourself for a plant-based fiesta that'll have you saying, "Holy Guacamole!"
Let's taco 'bout the food first, because it's truly something to savor. Tacotarian's menu is a creative masterpiece of veggie goodness. You can choose from an array of alternative plant-based options that will have your taste buds doing a conga dance.
The "Cowabunga" Taco is a personal favorite of mine. Loaded with seasoned plant-based protein, tangy salsa, and a dollop of avocado bliss, it's a fiesta in every bite. And don't even get me started on their "Unbeleafable" Burrito â a hearty creation bursting with black beans, grilled veggies, and all the fixings, wrapped in a warm tortilla. It's like a cozy blanket for your taste buds, giving you a big bear hug of flavor.
But wait, the fun doesn't stop at the food. The staff at Tacotarian is like a hilarious mariachi band, constantly entertaining and ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of fantastic. From their witty banter to their infectious energy, they make you feel like you're part of a delicious comedy show. I swear, these guys could make a cactus laugh!
The service is as smooth as a perfectly executed salsa dip. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations if you're unsure about what to try. Plus, they always serve up their food with a side of laughter. It's like being a guest at the best taco party ever â the kind where everyone is having a blast, and there's no awkward small talk.
And let's not forget the atmosphere. Tacotarian's vibrant and colorful decor will transport you straight to the heart of Mexico. The walls are adorned with funky murals that celebrate the beauty of nature and the joy of eating plant-based. It's like stepping into a fiesta-filled wonderland where you can indulge guilt-free.
So, whether you're a die-hard vegetarian, a curious flexitarian, or just someone in search of delicious food, Tacotarian is the place to be. With their amazing selection of healthy vegetarian Mexican delights, friendly staff, and commitment to animal-friendly cuisine, this spot is truly a diamond in the salsa.
In the words of a wise taco enthusiast (which is totally me), "Tacotarian is a tastebud treasure, a flavor explosion, and a celebration of plant-based perfection."    Read moreBeen here a few times and tonight the sides on the burrito plate were literally cold. Not even like warm. The burrito was ok, warm enough. Really not impressed tho that the to go order was obviously left sitting there while I waited inside the restaurant. My house is a 5 min drive away. đ
UPDATE: returned tonight, and the girl with the red tips in her hair took my order at the register, then went straight to her break. I sat there for a first 15 minutes while she sat across the way me fully aware of me, watching me, wondering where my food was because apparently it doesnât take that long. The place was quite empty when I came in and ordered, and there was nobody in ahead of me. When I finally went up to the register to find out where the food was a different girl was working and she found out that the other girl skipped over my order completely and thatâs why it took way longer than it should have. I ended up waiting about 23 minutes for no good reason. (apparently one burrito just takes five minutes) she gave me a full refund and then while I was waiting, she offered me a free dessert and a free drink. And then eventually offered to just give me what I had originally ordered free of charge. Her name is Sophia. She is the sweetest, most polite and kind girl. She made everything right and when the other girl came back from her break she didnât say a word to me. She never apologized nothing in fact, all she did was glare at me while I thanked Sophia for being so kind and sweet. I donât understand why that other girl was so mean to me, and seemed almost like hateful. I hope the manager or owner sees...
Read moreI have visited this location three times, each time accompanied by loved ones. I eat more veggie options than the average omnivore, but I'm not a vegan or even vegetarian.
It is not an exaggeration to say this is my absolute favorite Mexican food in the entire greater Las Vegas area. I put it up against Casa del Sabor and Sayulitas, two of my other absolute favorites, and because of the quality of the entire experience, I consider Tacotarian to be the obvious choice, especially considering so many of my loved ones don't consume meat or dairy.
The service is excellent and so friendly, the place is clean and has indoor and outdoor seating, lots of parking, and is located right off the 215. The variety of dishes is so creative and after trying a number of things, (all of which were amazing) I narrowed it down to my single favorite taco, the Baja.
I'm autistic and I mention this because I gave the atmosphere 4/5 stars. This is only due to the music being a bit loud for my taste. The surfaces inside are all hard and sound doesn't really absorb well so if there are a few tables of folks, it can be a bit too noisy. I bring ear defenders and it solves the problem.
The noise is not a deterrent for me, as I asked my wife to bring me here tonight so we could celebrate our second wedding anniversary. I could have had anything in the city but the only thing I wanted was that Baja taco, a whole plate of them.
If you're considering going here, make the right choice and just do it....
