When I first moved to Las Vegas, I found myself at this restaurant. I have no clue how I got here (it wasn't close to where I lived), who took me (that memory has long faded), or what I ate (I remember thinking how good it was). I went back a few more times, but over time stopped coming.
I moved to Henderson a couple of years ago, and started driving by it several times a week. Yet, I still didn't return to Fausto's, until a couple of weeks ago. I now mourn for all the time lost when I wasn't visiting this place. The food here is amazing!
Fausto's is probably best known as the best (Mexican food) bang for your buck. This characterization doesn't do it justice - Fausto's is good food at any price point. The fact that it is affordable is only icing on the proverbial cake.
What's amazing about this place is how consistently good the food is. The food today is just as good as it was 15 years ago when I first moved to town, and apparently just as underrated. I am surprised that Fausto's isn't as well known as other popular Mexican restaurants in town, most of which simply aren't the same quality.
Fausto's biggest selling point (to me) is that I can actually get menudo there. Yes, I know menudo isn't for everyone, but it's hard to find Mexican restaurants that go through the trouble of making it, and even fewer that can make it well. That alone is reason enough to visit. However, if menudo is not your thing, go try one of the delicious burritos, enchiladas, flautas, or tortas...

The taco and meat wasn’t anything special. Felt kind of bland, and the place smells like an old bathroom or like it needs deep cleaning. It’s got a dirty feel to it. I’d find new management and recruiting manager. I would never order here again. It might have been better if the workers had an ounce of professionalism—hard pass. I wanted to rate this place well but it was honestly one of the worst places I’ve been in Henderson. Could be just this location, but I wouldn’t ever want to interact with those rude workers there ever again. Please swap those guys out or get them some training asap and I’ll gladly change my review and come again with friends and family. Until then, this was not a friendly...
Read morePretty decent joint. Wanted a quick bite to eat in the morning, tried the Carne Asada burrito after checking the other reviews. Pretty decent, comes with Pico and a bit of guacamole. Steak was decent, no gristle, seasoned ok, good amount of meat, ate half of it and was satisfied. Very reasonable price as well. I do wonder why they don't put beans on the burrito, seems that's pretty common out here though. I do like a bit of fiber and/veggies with my beef though, one of the best parts of Mexican food if u know what I mean. ;-)
Definitely better than Roberto's but just nothing stand out special to me, pretty average IMO. Place is clean, nice assortment of salsas, good pickled carrots, friendly service. Will definitely them again. If you're looking for a nice loaded up burrito with high quality steak I'd recommend Super B Burrito down the way...
