HT's Ice Cream and Grill — Restaurant in Henderson

HT’s Ice Cream & Grill is easily one of the best spots in Henderson! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly service and a welcoming small-town vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu has a great variety—juicy burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and plenty of sides that always come out hot and fresh. Everything tastes like it was made with care instead of rushed, which really sets them apart from a lot of other places.

The ice cream is the star of the show though—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Whether you’re grabbing a cone on a hot day or topping off your meal with a sundae, it always hits the spot. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the quality you get for the money is outstanding.

What I love most is the consistency—you know you’re going to get a great meal every single time. It’s no wonder there’s often a line around lunch and dinner, but the wait is always worth it. Henderson is lucky to have a place like HT’s, and I’ll definitely keep coming back...

THE BATHROOM DOORS DO NOT LOCK!!

The bathrooms have a press in lock on the handle and is a simple, tiny bathroom. While doing my business, someone jiggled the handle and (instead of getting the hint that it was occupied since they couldn't get in easily) they kept jingling and guess what?

IT UNLOCKED and I could do nothing about it except yell (even before the door opened) that the bathroom was occupied.

Thankfully, it was just an older woman who needed to use the bathroom like me and startled when she saw me then apologized before leaving.

I did shout and say it was occupied while the still locked door handle was jiggled, but the place is LOUD even after lunch rush so it's likely she didn't hear me.

I would prefer a lock NOT attached to the handle and instead installed on the inside of the door, but the fact it unlocked with such little effort is scary.

Do not stop by this place for a pee break, go...

Got their black and blue burger with A1 sauce, also garlic cheese curds as a side. Oh my oh my those cheese curds are addicting. The burger was excellent and you can't get something like the burgers they make around henderson except for here. They are different and new, it's awesome to have a variety like they offer. Wife got the grilled chicken salad, with real bacon bits, chopped egg, croutons, tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette. Actually real food ingredients not fake cheap stuff throwed together. The salad was excellent. The atmosphere was a little too loud, I may be slight autistic because the noise was painful to me and I couldn't focus or even hear what my wife was saying to me. It's a small restaurant with not much seating. The owner said they were working on getting the capability of online orders. Staff was very polite. Great addition to henderson Kentucky. Well...
