Kiyoshi's Katsu House — Restaurant in Henderson

Kiyoshi's Katsu House is an absolute gem in Henderson! The restaurant is clean with a beautiful Japanese decor. Interior is very nice and all the decor has been carefully planned. There are several seating arrangements. Japanese music is playing in the background. Very enjoyable with a meal. There is outdoor seating as well.

Owners are very kind and welcoming! This is a family-run restaurant, Chef Mark truly takes the time to get to know his customers, making every visit feel like a warm, welcoming experience.

The food is amazing. Everything that we have tried was perfection!!! We have got the Wagyu Menchi Katsu Burger, which comes with fries in the cute little tower. Great presentation. It was delicious, very flavorful. Katsu is very tasty, nice texture, and good quality meat. Their Katsu’s are crispy, tender, and cooked to perfection, but my favorites on the menu are : the katsu curry and the menchi katsu burger-both packed with incredible flavor. It’s a MUST TRY!

Overall: Pricing is reasonable for the portions and quality. Staff are very courteous and hospitable.

This place was truly amazing with atmosphere, food, and service. I was immediately greeted at the door, given options where I wanted to sit, and order was taken right away, the people were so nice. The condiments were explained to me and I had a great experience. I will say the tonkatsu was not the most tender I’ve tasted, but the breading was 10 out of 10. And plenty of pleasant surprises. The rice was great(often overlooked). The pickled onions were incredibly crunchy and fresh. The shredded cabbage dressing was light and fantastic, it had a ponzu flavor. The takoyaki is definitely the best I’ve ever had in the States, it was a katsu one so it was crispy. The miso though, the miso was on another level. It had a sort of fermented plum flavor to it, that acidity added an immense beauty to the soup. So yeah!!! Please go try it out. In all honesty it was a long day and I meant to tip 23% but bad math made me well undertip and I feel awful and ashamed so please please go support them!!...

Mood -Consistency

As most people who know me, know I love food. We have so many restaurants to entertain here that I rarely go back more than once. There are exceptions from time to time.

Upon entering each time I have been here, I am quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. Menus given and drink order taken.

I have ordered the Sando, Curry Fries, Donburi, Hire, Menchi Burger, Karaage, and of course that Pork Katsu w/ extra curry. Can I say it is on point every time. 100% . This has truly been a go-to happy experience for me each time.
