La Real de Michoacan — Restaurant in Henderson

Amazing food and a huge selection. I counted 51 flavors of ice cream and sorbet. The horchata was phenomenal. I tried a pretty good variety. But they have a way bigger menu that just icecream. I also got what I'm pretty sure is called dorielote. Essentially it's a bag of doritos topped with nacho cheese, corn, mayo. Butter, cotija and jalapenos. Its doritos with elote on top. Its phenomenal and overflowing with toppings, I would buy an additional bag or chips to dip. I also got a basic shrimp cocktail, they dont skimp on a thing here. More shrimp than anything. Lastly for dessert. Fresca con crema( strawberries with cream) it's made with fresh strawberries, sweetened condensed milk and you get to choose an icecream flavor. I went with horchata which I couldnt imagine a better choice. My boyfriend got a couple scoops of flan icecream which he loved and devoured. Total I believe was around 25 bucks. The quality and quantity was outstanding. Will defintely be back to try their cajun shrimp sometime before they sell out! They only make what they can get fresh and it's always sold out before I arrive, which to me is an awesome sign it's just as good as...

The ice cream is good I had one single complain after these years and it was the response I got to..... it was the worst, the ladies there basically laughed at my face while I was eating ice cream with my daughters, all I said was that I didn't like one ice cream cause it felt gritty and the first 2 ladies came over try it themselves and laughed at it, then other 2 ladies came over tried it again and laughed again superloud while I was there obviously I repeated said I apologize if it didn't feel it like that for them but it was very disrespectful for the costumer for them to do that ... unfortunately I won't be back there cause the service over a complain was not professional at all, they didnt even apologize at the end, they need to have more experience in costumer service even the manager there was laughing with...

If I could give them less than one star I would** I used to love this store and can promise you I’ve spend hundreds of dollars there through out the time. My friend spent $32 and bought me an agua Fresca.. when we got in the car I accidentally spilled it, I went back inside and asked if they could please give me another one as I had literally just left the store it happened outside their parking lot. The owner refused to give me one and said I needed to pay for a “refill” which this was not a refill. It was a total accident and I think it’s a common courtesy to your customer to kindly give another drink. I will never everrr go back and it may not matter to them as I’m just a nobody BUT I will make sure to always give this place a...
