Tucked away on S. Eastern Ave in Henderson, Mura Japanese BBQ & Shabu offers a captivating dining experience that seamlessly merges the vibrant essence of Korean BBQ with the refined traditions of shabu-shabu. For my meal, I opted for the Category B course from the Korean BBQ menu, which introduced me to a tantalizing selection of meats. Among them were succulent cuts of brisket, tender bulgogi, rich pork belly, juicy ribeye, and flavorful LA Kalbi. Each piece was expertly sliced and grilled to perfection, unleashing a symphony of robust flavors that delighted my palate with every bite. Enhancing this culinary adventure were delectable side dishes, including a velvety steamed egg and delicate shumai, which provided comforting contrasts and enriched the already impressive variety of tastes and textures. The atmosphere of Mura is a blend of sophistication and warmth, creating a welcoming space that invites diners to relish authentic flavors. However, it was clear that the restaurant required additional staff. The team, though graceful under pressure, sometimes struggled to keep pace with the bustling demand, leading to occasional delays in service. Despite this, the remarkable quality of both the shabu-shabu and Korean BBQ lingered in my memory long after the meal. Overall, Mura Japanese BBQ & Shabu stands out for its exquisite culinary offerings and inviting ambiance, deserving of a solid four-star rating. With a few enhancements in service efficiency, it holds the promise of elevating its status even further as a premier dining destination.

Mura Japanese BBQ & Shabu is hands down THE BEST all-you-can-eat spots we have been to !!! The atmosphere was modern and lively, making it a great spot for a fun night out. It is the ultimate spot for an epic food adventure. It's a combination of different cuisines that blends Japanese, Korean, and Chinese dishes - think ramen, hot pot, and BBQ all in one place. You get to cook your own meals with options like Japanese and Korean BBQ right at your table, making it not just a meal, but an experience. The selection of meats is top-notch, especially the wagyu, which melts in your mouth. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly on the grill. You have an open salad, veggie, and sauce bar. Options to choose hot pot, KBBQ, or Sushi. The service was excellent--our servers were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We have experienced the best service ever!!! For the price, you get an amazing experience with high-quality meats. Overall: Mura Japanese BBQ & Shabu stands out for its exquisite culinary offerings inviting ambiance and very attentive welcoming staff, definitely deserving of a solid five-star rating. Next door (which is also connected with the restaurant) is a grocery store that sells only Korean and Japanese products, very unique and cool concept. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Amazing savory and sweet flavors, extraordinary customer service! Chef Victor’s original recipe burger is the best we found, hands down—this trip to Vegas! Bring all your friends and family, this hidden gem is the best Korean BBQ😋 All the entrees here are beautifully presented and super fresh, delivered in a friendly, delightful atmosphere — along with a huge assortment of Asian and American beverages 🍷🍹🥃 to complement any local or Vegas visitor’s preferences. We savored the delectable meats🥩🥓 and enjoyed the exotic Oriental drinks . . . It was a culinary adventure to flame broil and select our own level of tender juiciness or crispy crunch as the restaurant offered a BBQ grilling experience, along with a great opportunity to sample the spicy Korean side dishes.🍚🥢🧆 Perfect place for a class reunion! The environment is clean, modern and easy to maneuver in groups for socializing. For my teenage daughter’s birthday, we were thrilled by the Chef’s special ice cream 🍦that outshines any other presentation I have ever seen at a restaurant! Awesome — thank you for the extraordinary evening with friends and family!

When we sat down as a family of 6, we were greeted by our server i believe his name was Jesus? Shirt mexican guy with glasses and he was nice in the beginning and later throughout our dinner. My husband asked him, 'can I get 3 orders of brisket and 2 gyozas' and he did not respond. We know he clearly heard my husband while he was changing the grill. After when my husband was able to catch him he said ," did you get that order?' Jesus responded with 'yaaaa' with a unpleasant unfriendly tone as he walks passed behind my husband . The server should've responded in a friendly manner like ' yes I did' or 'no i didn't get the order' but he just said 'yaa' and zoomed off. So now clearly this means that when my husband had asked the FIRST time for the briskets and gyoza he definitely HEARD my husband's order, but didn't even respond and acknowledge the order in real time and we were wondering hmm did he hear it or is he ignoring us ? But after he said 'yaaa' it was set and stone he DID 100% hear the order & my husband was left ignored as I witnessed it too at the time. Wow. But he shouldn't respond with 'yaa' and walk away. Like yes it was busy but he definitely could've gave a better response than that one word and walk away. Maybe say like 'o yes i did put it in' and then zoom off and tend to other tables or food drop offs. But not 'yaaa' and continue walking away. My husband said 'ay dont give me attitude' and he just kept moving like walking away. unprofessional. And we think he was irritated probably from asking to change our grill on the 3rd time (it had to be changed though since it was betting black & there was 6 of us and we were just cooking meats back to back) not sure exactly why he ignored us the first time though but it is an assumption. But if the server has low patience and gets irritated easily to ignore people when they wanna order, etc. You're going to have customers ask for many things left and right & a server needs to professional in a friendly manner tend to them Acknowledge. If he can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Maybethe food business isn't for him and it's not fair for families to have a bad experience. Who knows, if he done this to another family but they were too nice to step up for themselves. We did tell management because this shouldn't continue for another family who is there to have a good time. Unfortunately, this was our first time there & it is now our last time. But I wish the best for this restaurant. Loved the ambience. We hope him and all the employees can make customers happy and satisfied with their experience here with exceptional...

Went here with a friend of mine and upon walking in we were ignored and had to waive someone down to get a table. Host doesn’t even make eye contact or says hello and sends a waiter to seat us, who immediately leaves after we sit. I figure it’s just a really busy night so I don’t mind it too much at first. We wait for 10 minutes until a different server comes up and hands us menus then walks off without explaining it. We’re left sitting there confused for awhile until a 3rd different server comes up and asks if we’ve received menus yet, to which I tell him we have but we’re having a hard time understanding it. He explains it and we take our orders to start. Food comes out and it’s quite good. We ordered some sushi and bulgogi meat to grill. We’re ready to order more and it takes 20+ minutes for a server to come check on us. Food came out at a decent pace but servers barely ever checked on us. Then a different waitress comes up and tells us that we will need to wrap it up soon as they have a wait list and hands us the bill then immediately walks off. I just slide my card in the till and wait for her to come back. A 6th different server comes up, tells us we need to wrap it up, and I explain to her I already have my card in the till I’m just waiting to be rung up. She leaves without a word and immediately comes back and just walks off without a thank you or have a good night. I was really excited about this place given the reviews and the food was actually pretty decent. The service just really sucked and it’s turned me away from coming back. The water cups were also just plastic containers that held other stuff with the labels sloppily scratched off. And for whatever reason there was active construction literally inside the restaurant whilst it was open in the back where I’m assuming they had another section under construction. It just felt very unorganized and hectic in there. Maybe it’ll improve once it’s been...

First-Time Diner Review

As a first-time diner at Mura, the experience left much to be desired. My sister and I waited to be greeted by the front door for about 8 minutes before being asked how many would be dining. We were escorted to a table and quickly afterwards, a metal jar of utensils was slid onto our table. We waited another 5 minutes before our server came to the table. I informed him that I was new to the experience and he showed me the menu, the prices, and the different meat options. The person that gave us utensils walked by and stated that we had to leave by 9 in Spanish. They have a 90 minute table time, but I definitely was feeling rushed.

3 square containers of meat were brought to our table and an order of shrimp. We were not informed about when our soup would reach the table or how to turn on the grill. As a first-time diner I had to look around several times to see what everyone else was doing. Eventually another person, maybe management came and asked how we were doing. I told him we did not know how to work the gas grill. The gas line apparently was not functioning, but it was fixed. The soup came 15 minutes after the cold containers of meat were given to us. I was weary of eating it with it just sitting out. I've seen other restaurants on social media with ice under the meat and they did not have that at this location.

Once we got our soup and a person helped us turn on the grill we were able to eat. If it weren't for my sister being with me I may have left due to lack of attention and service for our table.

The meat for the soup was tender and seemed fresh, but it lacked flavor and the meat for the grill was lacking in flavor as well.

There were many vegetable and sauce options and the soup bases we ordered were flavorful.

I most likely won't return to this location, but I would like to enjoy this dining style again at...
