Had some extra free time Tuesday to try out the new restaurant in Henderson for lunch … Olea Fusion Bistro. Quick and attentive service. Tuna ceviche was perfect, flavorful and gone in minutes from the plate. I had a very light pasta with olive oil. My husband had the caesar salad with the addition of shrimp. My pasta was served perfectly and was full of flavor. I could’ve used just a few more Kalamata olives and tomatoes, but that’s just a personal preference… husbands caesar salad had a great authentic dressing and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. This restaurant is in the old CKB location. I cannot wait to go back. It fills a huge void in the communities for Mediterranean food. We went to Greece last year and this brought back all of the good vibes. I definitely recommend. Pictured tuna ceviche with an orchid, Mediterranean pasta, shrimp caesar salad.

My sister and I tried Oleas for the first time the other day during lunch. The atmosphere was definitely more upscale but casual enough that we didn’t feel out of place either. There were several other groups but still a quiet lunch atmosphere. The service was fantastic. Promptly seated. Drinks were kept full. Multiple people checked on us to make sure everything was up to our expectations. The food was fantastic. We shared the black bean hummus, i got the ala vodka fettuccine with chicken and my sister got a lamb gyro. She said her meat was very flavorful and tender. My pasta was spicy but delicious. It’s definitely a little pricier than most lunch places but the food and service was worth every bite. We left stuffed. I’d like to go back during dinner!

The crab cakes on special were absolutely fabulous! Was accompanied by a red pepper coulis and creamed corn and jalapeño foam. The foam had a very unique flavor, light yet creamy, complimented the crab cakes very well. I also had the Chimichurri Sirloin with citrus rice and asparagus. Steak was perfectly cooked, and the Chimichurri paired so well with citrus rice and asparagus. Service was wonderful; it’s a cozy little place, ideal for date night. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
