PT's Gold — Restaurant in Henderson

I normally come over to this PT's since it's close by and of all the times I have visited this was the worst.

Normally when my friends and I come over we are greeted right away as soon as we walk in the door. This time on a Wednesday at around 5:45ish...no one even looked at us let alone greet us. We sat on the corner table and was waiting for someone to come by and say hello and take our drink order but there was no one coming. We looked at the bar and there was a male and female at the bar...talking to each other and that was it. A male customer kind of shook his empty cup with ice and the male at the bar looked at him and slowly walked over with a pitcher, then walked back to the bar to continue his...whatever he was doing. After around 5 minutes talking with my brother and looking at our phones, we decided to leave since no one was even looking this way...UNTIL we stood up and walked towards the door. The male was looking straight at me...because I was looking straight at him while I was walking out.

Here's the deal...

I can understand if you're busy and you're short on people...but if you don't convey that to the customer ("hey guys/gals, sorry for the wait, but we're short on staff today and we'll get to you as soon as we can") your communications skills are lacking. If they would have said something like that then I would not be writing this and all would be good because people and communication skills is a must at a food service industry, which I have worked at before.

In the end I will be wary of that worker even IF I come back to this location to see if things have changed or not...way later...while I tell my friends not to come over to this location since service wasn't bad...it was...

I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled. After a long work day craving some bar food, ( I have eaten here before and it was decent, no bad memories) we ordered 2 apps, fried pickles and the pretzels. It took forever to get them, and then to be told way after the pickles arrived that they were out of pretzels. Whatever that is fine, why wait to say something until waaay after those were served. The burgers were basically burnt, but I ate it. Barely any fries on the plate. There were three of us and all of our entrees weren't even brought out at the same time. Our server was kind but the service was terrible. I will probably never come back here. I would have enjoyed my meal more if I went to In and Out and it would have been better quality and the service would have been better. Not everyone wants to come in and drink at a bar, why offer food if you can't put out a excellent product and...

For a daytime bar, their nailed it: music was uplifting yet bar feel. Bar was decent with Casamigos in n their line up:l and food was ok.

Sourdough bread was amazing especially if you mix the blackberries jam with the strawberry the potatoes okay but not horrible. They need a flavored salt but with do with regular salt. Eggs werover cooked even burnt a little see picture and liquid eggs batter. The bacon is actually good per the bartender recommendation. A+ it’s hard to find good bacon at bars.

Waiter/bartender was pleasant friendly and knew the basic drink menu without having to think about it and the food menu as well. she didn’t recommend any drinks,l as well. but I didn’t ask as well, so I happy medium overall. I I give this a four Out of 5 . Cleanliness 5/5 Enviroment: 4/5 food 3.5/5 good bacon is hard to find....
