This might be the most interesting starbies encounter ever. They are clearly getting started at this location, as evidenced by the boxes unopened by the door and stacked everywhere. The caution sign alerts you to the dirty floor. I am not sure if this is the norm as this is not my town or state and we are just traveling through. However, I was very excited to stop in and I typically have great experiences at Starbucks and I have tried a variety of drinks and foods. I was so excited to make this stop and not only come in and get one of my new favorite drinks but redeem some stars I’ve been saving up for merchandise. I knew with my purchase I would be able to get two cups. Since I am traveling with my new husband and my two daughters I was calculating in my head how to do the most and the barista with the undercut was simply the most rude that I’ve ever encountered here or at any coffee shop. And I loooove my coffee. No offense starbies but I have tried other spots. I’m only describing her appearance because she didn’t have a name tag or an apron to indicate who she was. She wore glasses and multicolored hair and stared at me blankly. “What are you trying to do?” After repeating myself she still stared at me blankly but luckily my new husband spoke up and explained again. She was in no way helpful or even remotely excited about this which was quite shocking. I was spending 800 stars and scoring some merch and was with my crew after just getting married- I was pretty hype - she on the other hand was like f these people. Perhaps she needs a double shot...
Read moreI don’t mind the long waits because I know they are always busy. When you have a consistent flow of drive thru, in store, and mobile orders coming through. My issue is actually with one of the workers, I believe her name is Mercedes. She is always so rude and very unapproachable. It doesn’t matter if she’s at the drive thru, register, or making drinks. Every single time I am in there she’s just beyond rude. I always order online so it’s not like we’ve had an actual conversation. I ALWAYS thank the barista when they hand me my drink. But the other day I went in and we ordered at the counter. We told the woman at the counter we wanted our cake warmed. Apparently it wasn’t on the ticket. When Mercedes sat our food down I said excuse me this is supposed to be warm. She said well it’s not on the ticket. The woman who took our order confirmed it was supposed to be warmed. So Mercedes took our cake warmed it up and threw it back on the counter. I am not sure how she has worked there so long because j have spoken with others that say they have similar experiences with her. Read moreMy wife enjoys going to Starbucks every Saturday morning in Henderson Ky. I live and work in Alabama. Therfore, she gets her coffee and heads to the park so we can talk on the phone. When I am in town on Saturday I'll go with her. Personally, I think the coffee is over priced and the service is way to slow. However, normally, Starbucks coffee taste OK. Unfortunately, 3 out of the last 4 times I have gone to the Henderson location the coffee has just been bad. Problems ranging from coffee not being hot, cups not being full, no flavor, and sticky cups from syrup being spilled down the side of the cups. Today was no exception. My coffee tasted burnt. I could not drink it. $6.00 is way too expensive to pay for two sips of horrible coffee. If you're going to continue to charge people $6.00 for a 45 cents cup of coffee you need...
