I would have enjoyed the bagel but I had several problems with my order. I had to eat my bagel with nothing on it since they didnt give me my cream cheese. First of all I tried to order online but the screen kept freezing up on the checkout page and I couldnt get it to go thru. I had to just go in person. Next, the lady helping me at the register didnt have a clue what she was doing and she said it was her 2nd day and she didnt know what she was doing (from her mouth, not mine). She couldnt figure out how to add mayo or tomato to a my large french dip order. Giving up and saying " I'll just tell them" I also ordered one individual bagel and asked for them to toast half and put the cream cheese in a container on the side. Last but not least I ordered a dozen bagels of various flavors and half a pound of cream cheese. The cashier didnt seem to be very familiar with the different bagels but that's the only part of my order that WASNT messed up. When my order was delivered to me they had forgotten my sandwich. They had no clue and I had to tell them. They of course then went to make that. Upon opening my bagel (while waiting for my sandwich) I saw it was not toasted at all. The lady said here is your cream cheese ( but when I opened it later it was potato salad. I didnt get the 1/4 lb of scallion cream cheese I had ordered.) I was at chemo before I realized they had shortened me on that. When I finally got my sandwich I realized they gave me a small instead of the large I had ordered. When I pointed this out they got the ticket and told me, well the good news is we only charged you for a small. No offer to make it right or fix their mistake. I had already been there 30 mins from walking in the door until leaving. And that's for a to go order. So, dont go if your in a hurry. I was extremely disappointed with the service more than anything. If you go, double check your order and have the patience of Job when trying to explain any...
Read moreI do NOT share this review lightly, I have been going to joeys for years and always loved them but today was not the joeys I've known. I'll start by saying I waited 40 minutes for 3 bagels and it wasn't crazy busy, normally the wait wouldn't bother me but the customer service was also bad, the people that used to work there were absolutely amazing and made the experience, the girls today were not friendly and were just unprofessional, a worker from another local business (white duck tacos, he had his shirt on) came in and had placed an online order which was not ready, he politely said he had to cancel his order as he didn't have time to wait, after he left the girls up front proceeded to laugh and talk shi* about him for a solid 20 minutes, it was so uncomfortable to listen to. Ontop of all this the food was so off, it had zero flavor and was not at all the quality im used to from joeys. I opened mine immediately and it wasn't even hot, I don't understand how you provide cold food after 40 minutes waiting. It was a ONE star experience but for all previous good food and service I gave 2. P.s. when you spend 26 dollars on 3 bagels they should be good. IT WONT LET ME REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT 16 MINUTES. YOU SAYING IM LYING IS DISGUSTING, IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER MORE THAN 10 YEARS WHAT POSSIBLE MOTIVATION DO I HAVE TO LIE??? AND IVE WORKED CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU DEFENDING YOUR EMPLOYEES BAD MOUTHING A CUSTOMER OPENLY SHOWS HOW MUCH YOU DONT CARE. And I was within two feet of the customer, he wasn't rude or loud. Where were you? Definitely NOT within two feet of this...
Read moreI recently visited Joey's Bagels, and I have to say, it was one of the best bagel experiences I've had. From the quality of the bagels to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, Joey's really impressed me.
The bagels themselves were absolutely top-notch. They had a perfect chewy texture on the outside and were light and fluffy on the inside. You could tell they were made fresh that day using high-quality ingredients.
But the bagels were only one part of what made Joey's so great. The overall atmosphere of the shop was really inviting and comfortable. The decor had a cozy, neighborhood feel, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
And I have to give a special shoutout to the owner, Gabe himself. He was working the counter when I visited and he went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience. He was so personable and genuinely seemed to care that his customers were happy. You don't find that level of service and attention to detail very often these days.
Overall, I highly recommend checking out Joey's Bagels if you're in the area and looking for an amazing bagel experience. The quality of the food, the wonderful atmosphere, and the exceptional customer service all combine to make this place a true standout. I'll definitely be...
