Peking House — Restaurant in Hendersonville

There’s been a few times I’ve not been happy but I’ve continued to give this place a chance, but today has taken the absolute cake $30 for this food. The chicken in the black boat was supposed to be a quart of general chicken chicken only. ( 14 medium to small bite of chicken. ) completely underneath is nothing but pieces of broccoli. Not even sure whether there’s a bowl of rice no one asked for rice. No one eats rice and the other container is supposed to be a a quart of seafood delight there is no seafood. It is noodles. Only this order takes the cake. It was not ordered. Online went in person had to wait 15 minutes for the order that was not a problem. Waited in the car prepaid for the order prior to it being cooked that it was a mustupon once receiving the order and returning home with it, discovered that this was not necessarily the order that we had ordered was only one person who came in to pick up an order to go while we were waiting on. Ours did not seem too busy. On the positive the taste of the sauce is very good oddly nothing is hot and we don’t live but a half a block and I mean half a block from the restaurant don’t understand the 15 minute wait but nothing is warm...

I worked here as a delivery driver a little over a year ago after my real job. Ming, who previously owned the restaurant sold it to another person. This kid, who was funded by his father owns it now. He is extremely disrespectful to employees and customers. He holds delivery orders until "there are enough to take". this is why your orders take so long to arrive. Also, he doesn't pay taxes on his employees. He pays them all out of the cash register. I've also seen his father, who is a cook, pick up dropped food from the floor multiple times and put it in the wok or fryer. Be aware that this is not the same restaurant that Ming ran. Also, be aware that your delicious food may have come off the floor. I highly recommend finding a new Chinese restaurant. Btw my wife is from China and she wont step a foot in this restaurant...

They list crab meat in the ingredients but it’s really imitation crab meat when I told the owner that it was ILLEGAL to do so that he just said “well every Chinese restaurant does that “ I then said well I’m not ordering from every Chinese restaurant I’m ordering from you he just continued with the same story.. I asked him how do we fix this then .. he had no clue .. I suggested the fact again that it’s ILLEGAL to sell imitation crab meat as actual crab meat and that maybe he needs to change it on the menu he just said again every restaurant Chinese restaurant does it .... I need help with this one every one .we should not have to say it’s ok even as something As small as this there is a reason we pay taxes...
