Horrible. We were traveling the interstate from TN to SC. Needed a QUICK dinner. We decided on Wendy’s since it’s a FAST FOOD place. Wrong decision because we ended up being there for 50 minutes! We could have gone to a sit down full restaurant like Outback and had spent about the same amount of time. Our order consisted of 2 kids cheeseburger meals, a grilled chicken sandwich meal, and a baked potato. We waited a long time! Finally I realized our two kids meals were waiting on a tray but not the rest. I handed my kids their meals and asked about the potato and sandwich. They said it would be 6 minutes more. We probably had been waiting 20 minutes by this point. We didn’t know what time we ordered though because they didn’t give us a receipt. After waiting some more, we asked again and guy at the register asked if we would like something else instead of the potato because they didn’t have any. Did it really take them that long to realize they had no potatoes? So I decided to get chili cheese fries instead. So they got us that but didn’t even offer to give us back the difference, we had to ask. No manager ever even spoke to us to apologize. They did end up giving us the whole amount back for the potato. In the end, I’m not looking for anything free. I’m looking for good service and at least a visit from the manager to apologize. We had already lost an hour on our trip from slow traffic in a construction area. We have 2 kids who need to go to school tomorrow and now they won’t get into bed until 10:30. My dad worked for Wendy’s as a director of operations for over 2 decades. I know what is expected and our visit to this store was way off of friendly service and quick food. I get things happen, but they could have handled it better and I wouldn’t have felt the need...
Read moreIt's been awhile since I've visited this Wendy's and it will be even longer before I come again. I pulled up as the fourth person in the Drive-Thru waited almost 5 minutes for the first person to order to be taken. Then they took the next person's order. Then I waited another almost 5 minutes for them to take the order of the person in front of me. I pull up and they asked me to wait. After I gave my order I pulled around and there was nobody in line. They were taking one or two people's order and then waiting until they fill that order to take the next person's. A very slow and inefficient way to operate.
While I waited for them to fill my order, after paying, I got to listen to the window employee rant about how much they hated their job. Also, Christine (I think that was the name), didn't like her and she didn't care. ,On and on rather than taking the order of the person who'd pulled behind me.
No wonder they are so slow.
Also while I waited I could see another employee come up to their drink station and scoop their cup thru the ice. This is a health code violation. Anything on her hand was now in the ice. It's required to use a designated cleanable scoop, not an employee's plastic cup.
And they were out of diet drinks and my fries were room temperature.
The employees are the easy target but where was the manager who should be managing this stuff. Who trained and allows them to take and fill one order at a time thru the Drive-Thru? Who allows them to dirty the ice?
Corporate Wendy's should shut this place down until they are willing to pay and train qualified workers. This location is giving...
Read moreLast night will be the last night I eat at this particular Wendy's. I ordered on the app and went to pick it up through the drive-thru. The lady at the window was filling up drinks. She was touching the insides of the cups and trying to pull them apart. Disgusted me, to be honest. She didn't even fill one drink all the way up. Another lady told me to pull forward. I stayed at the window waiting for the drinks so we could pull forward. The next thing I knew, the girl filling the drinks pulled her shirt up and pulled on the waist of her pants like she was about to pull them down. She then proceeds to urgently run to the bathroom. This made me lose my appetite. The other woman came back to the window and asked me to pull forward again. I told her we hadn't gotten our drinks yet. She hands me one drink, and before handing me the other, I asked her to fill the drink the rest of the way. She didn't know how to do that or just didn't want to and kept saying, "Oh my god!". She ended up adding more ice to the cup instead. Um... how does that make it right?! I got home with the food, and everything was wrong. Missing nuggets in each container, and they were the wrong flavor and very greasy. The ghost pepper chicken sandwich was a cheap burger from the value menu. I'm disappointed and...
