I’m honestly writing this review because I’d love to see this local business succeed. I did enjoy the coffee that I’ve had here several times but the customer service was a bit lacking. During a previous experience, the barista seemed very unhappy to be there and never greeted or thanked me. That was back in April. Today, I stood at the order counter for about 4-5 minutes before being acknowledged….at all. I was the only person there and the employees were in the process of making sandwiches. I sincerely don’t mind waiting, but most food service industries will typically greet and let you know you’re on their radar. It was a bit odd and uncomfortable. I frequent coffee shops in Hendersonville weekly. I much prefer to support local businesses (rather than Starbucks). Read moreI stopped in for lunch and ordered a basic build your own salad. The female employee was more than bothered that I wanted a salad and was unprofessional the entire process. When our food was ready she came to our table and slid the salad across the table to me, no words were spoken. I noticed I had not recd the ranch dressing so i went up to the counter and asked the male employee for salad dressing. With a roll of his eyes, he said "you didn't ask for any dressing" Hmm, shouldn't they have asked what type of dressing I wanted? If that's not their policy to ask that, at least provide the dressing to the salad I paid $13.68 for a bit more pleasantly. It was shortly after opening on Saturday. Saw the chef placing a sandwich in a bin on top of the counter, and I inquired if that was my sandwich, he rudely replied no that he would let me know when my sandwich was ready.
