The two girls that are servers, I believe (one is a blonde with a ponytail and one a brunette with long hair) ... Have horrible attitudes. They just walk back and forth a bunch playing with their hair. They glare, no smiles whatsoever, and don't know how to say "excuse me" when almost taking my leg off multiple times while walking by my mother and I as we waited for our food. This has happened 3-4 times now when we order our food. Sadly, our food was so burnt we couldn't even eat it, picture attached. Usually the food is good and we spend about $80 each visit. But the two girls really should get different jobs if they don't like to be friendly with customers. It makes it a very uncomfortable experience. They seem to have no issue being friendly with the boys in the back but can't even crack a smile with paying customers. My mother doesn't even want to go here anymore because of how uncomfortable she feels while we sit in the waiting spot for our food. It's sad. Read moreI visit Sammy's often. I always order and wait for my take out on the long wooden bench provided near the front door. The waitresses who do not service me at all during my TAKE OUT are rude and inconsiderate everytime. They glare and give snarling looks and have absolutely no customer service 🙄 one literally stopped inches in front of me to look at her friend though the window 🤷♀️ when i tried to smile she grossly turned her head and walked away. She was so close i had to tuck my feet under the bench. This happens every time. I have gone so far has to put a generous tip in their jar, just because I felt bad for them. If customers are not allowed on the bench because we block the little booth window it should be posted. I really don't think it's worth the disrespect anymore and I live closer to Do North Pizza......
Read moreWe were in town for the weekend doing some birding at the bog and ordered from Sammy's after a long day. Ordered wings and a pizza. The BBQ boneless wings were the only decent part. I'm not sure what kind of Buffalo sauce they use but on the traditional wings we ordered I've never in my life not been able to handle "buffalo" wings. my mouth was so on fire it was outrageously painful so if you are a fan of Buffalo sauce because it's typically quite mild for hot sauce, avoid these you will regret it. The pizza was not great, but was more edible than the lava wings. All the reviews said otherwise and maybe we are just spoiled by our local pizza shops but we were not impressed. Obviously everyone's taste buds are different and perhaps it just wasn't our cup of tea. I will say it was done fairly quickly so...
