Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Hermantown

Though I've only been to a handful of Outback Steakhouses, the Outback Steakhouse in Duluth is far and away the best one I've been to -- and one of the best steakhouses I've been to!

First off, a lovely hostess held the door open for us, greeting us warmly. We were also greeted very kindly by the host and our very nice hostess seated us promptly. Our server was Ozell, and he was absolutely fantastic!! Very pleasant and friendly! He checked on us often, making sure we had plenty of bread and drink refills. Our food was also brought to us in a very timely manner.

My friend and I both got the 3 course meal, starting with fresh, delicious salads (including crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes and slices of onions, croutons, ect), a very flavorful and juicy 6 oz steak, fresh delicious broccoli (my friend enjoyed the loaded baked potato), and absolutely fantastic cheesecake with raspberry sauce! Oh, and the bread was fresh, warm, and amazing!!

Our meals were very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I just want to say thank you to Ozell, the other wonderful servers who brought out our food, the friendly host/hostesses, and the talented chefs. Our meals were amazing and our experience was one of the best ever!! We will absolutely be back when we visit...

The food was pretty good (I’m not much for chain restaurants, but went with family for Father’s Day) but can we talk about the service?! Our waitress (I missed catching her name unfortunately) was called away to help an elderly customer who was choking on her food. She immediately put down our dishes and ran to help! Ultimately another customer had gotten to her first and was able to preform the heimlich, but she made sure everyone was okay and thanked and all was well before she went back to her duties. She was taking such good care of my kids (ages 5,3, and 5 months). She was cooing at our baby as I was struggling to eat with one hand and said “before covid, I would have offered to hold your baby so you could eat!” Being that our household is past that, I offered my baby to her and she lovingly doted him around the restaurant while I ate my food in silence. My little guy loves her so much he cried when she gave him back to me! Lol!! 10/10 recommend based...

My family and I recently dined at Outback, and our experience was phenomenal! On top of the wonderful steak and chicken we ordered, our service was truly the cherry on top. Our server, Elle, was the sweetest server I have had in my years of dining with this company. She is very attentive to everything going on around her, and constantly made sure we were having a good experience with our food and drinks. However, I am most impressed with how she treated our children. Our kids can sometimes be fussy (as they’re hungry toddlers) and Elle is one of the only waitresses at any restaurant ever to not avoid us because of it or who didn’t seem to mind. She offered to spend some time coloring and entertaining them with their toys off to the side of the table until their food came, which as tired parents we are very thankful for! Such a small action can go so far! If anyone is interested in dining at Outback, I highly recommend Elle as their waitress. What an...
